Highlights of the 2007 NYC kitchen industry and NYC Construction Manhattan
There are more Chinese products and appliances on the market in 2007. High end products and appliances are competing for the best and most innovative features. There is a lot of competitiveness and "having that extra feature" that is alive and strong in the high end Kitchen and Bathroom market.

Some dishwashers are now designed to use less energy.Dishwashers monitoring dirtiness of the water and adjusting wash and dry times accordingly. Another example of conservation is shower heads infusing water with air. More colorful refrigerators and other applinaces are available in 2007.

Now, in the bathroom as well there is High Tech shower products including control displays similar to what you see for home security or home automation control displays. For example sound and light systems for your shower.

Some Pedestal sink designs now have a more slim sleek design.

Tall building additions are rising during this building boom in Manhattan. In Hell’s Kitchen/Clinton neighborhood some on lot’s as small as 25’ fronting the street and another on a 23 ft., 8 inch wide lot. In addition some very awkward shaped buildings are going up to fit in unique spaced lots, an example is one t shaped lot creating a uniquely shaped building in the Clinton/ Hell’s kitchen neighborhood.
