We can find that secret place in spite of ourselves
How precious are the moments when I know that You're around
I can almost hear You breathing when I sit real still, like now
So many times I think I've heard You gently calling "Come,
"Sit down and talk with Me' I'll tell you of My Son."
Oh heavenly Father, how I love you - my heart belongs to You!
Take me, cleanse me, use me 'til my short life is spent
'Til that glad day when all the earth are seen prostrate at Your feet
And every evil foe has forever ceased.
"Abide" in You is what You ask, Continue in Your love,
"Come unto You and "bear" Your yolk,
"Find rest" in You, and peace and hope
What love, Oh Jesus, I enjoy!
What love, what love is mine!
We'll bear fruit to glorify our Father
As I draw from You My precious Vine!
