Heroin Lullaby

Losing someone over something so addictive is one of the worst things to live with…
Strong scents rush through the willing veins
Just to get rid of the unbearable pains.
Invisible black dots dance in your sight
As the needle gives you a soothing bite.
Suffocated by the injection of daze
Your mind is nothing, just a blank maze.
You laced your sorrows around your arm,
So the blood would not escape
Your tears stick to you like clear tape.
Loving such a poisonous drug
Holds you back with a deadly tug.
Trying to hid your madness
But all this leaves you with is sadness.
Do you know your loved ones are crying?
As they watch you slowly dying.
But you don't know who they are, and you don't care
You left them heartbroken and bare.
The sickness still alive but you lay motionless
And you no longer suffer brokenness.
Lowering you into a darkened hole,
They sing to you with a mournful sigh
The darkness of your Heroin Lullaby.
