Her Poem

I wrote this for someone, she is constantly in my mind, a girl that I love.
You sit down,
And you admire,
The person before you,
You truly aspire,
They look at you,
So astonishing they are,
Sitting in their presence,
But yet you're so far,
She takes a step forward,
With her beautiful face gleaming,
You smile nervously,
Inside, your heart is steaming,
She leans in close,
And shuts her eyes,
Your lips touch,
And her hands begin to rise,
They touch your face,
So soothing it feels,
Stroking your skin,
Has her head over heels,
For the wise man always said,
Never say never,
And now it seems,
That you're both closer than ever,
Everything around you,
Feeling nothing but absence,
For what's before you,
Is complete beauty and essence,
Her lips fade away,
Her eyes slowly open,
Our fingers find their way together,
Like cloth perfectly woven,
She looks you in the eyes,
At that moment, just you two,
She shines,
And says, "I Love You"
You respond with a smile,
But thinking hers are the best,
You feel it's time,
Pulling her close to your chest,
Her arms wrap around you,
You hear her whispers,
Asking you the only question,
If you will forever, be her's?
