Her Own Highland Laird - Prologue

Brenda asked his hand for marriage....fifteen years later he had come to accept her proposal. Again, straight into marriage!
Brenda was the second youngest of her family. She was the only daughter in her family and for that she learned to protect herself from enemies. Her brothers taught her how to fight, do tricks, and plan ahead…anything a warrior is supposed to know. In total she has six brothers. Five of them are older and one of them is younger. The oldest is Balfour who is their Laird. The second oldest is Alexander who is as tall as Balfour. The third oldest is Callum who is quick minded and smart. The fourth oldest is Boyd who rakish and playful character makes women fall at his feet ready to serve him. Duncan is the fifth oldest brother and the youngest one is David.

Now, Brenda and her family have neighbors; one on all sides of them. However, there is one neighbor who came to visit one day and that is little Colin McAllister and his family. They have come to celebrate a battle that was won between Brenda’s families. Brenda saw him then and instantly she believes she was in love. She walked up to him and pinched his little small cheeks as he frowned upon her. He was twice her size but she was not afraid of him. She leaned forward and whispered into his ear so he could only hear her.

"Would you marry me?" She asked shyly.

He threw his head back and laughed. She frowned at him showing her displeasure. His eyes twinkled and just when he was about to answer her someone called for him.

But that was when she was five years old…

Fifteen years later…Laird Collin McAllister rode up her gates…to accept his bride’s proposal.
