Helpless 3.0

The main character takes her fall (you guys still don't know her name) and a series of unfortunate events takes place afterwards. And a visit from a stranger...
I opened my eyes and attempted to sit up. Trying to gain my balance, I stood up. My left palm had a scratch on it, slicing straight down the middle. It was slightly bleeding. As I examined my barley injured hand a small drop of rain fell on my head. It was sprinkling just a bit but it was strange because it was extremely sunny and bright outside. A sunshower maybe? Over the distance I could make out a rainbow. I cocked my head upwards, trying to recall my fall. I squinted at the old Cherry tree and let out an exaggerated whistle. Apparently I made a huge plunge. Examining the rest of my body, I found that I was not hurt except for that scratch. How in the world did I take a 20 feet drop and only have a cut? I dared not to question myself at times like these, I am just grateful that I’m not dead. Wait, why did I want to climb that tree anyway?

I told myself to just forget about the tree house and returned home in hoping to find some Neosporin. Being only a couple of houses away, I could already here the sirens. I gasped as I saw the rushing policemen shooing away all the nosy bystanders. The EMS was carrying a small body into the back of the ambulance truck. I was guessing it was one of the twins. The Twins! I forgot! The scene flashed through my head again. Subconsciously I shook my head, trying to shoo away the image. I had to get to home…pronto. I edged myself around the police but wasn’t successful. One of the cops grabbed my shoulder. "Get behind the rope. BEHIND the rope." He shouted in my ear. "Dude, my house is right there." I pointed at the door ivory door across the street. He ignored me and shoved me behind the rope. No choice then. I had to go through the back door… but first I had to jump the fence.

I escaped around the crowd and headed to the back gate. Now, I thought, how was I going to jump this without hurting my hand? I looked at my hand and sure enough, the scar wasn’t even there! I flipped my hand over and looked at the other hand in disbelief. "No way." I said out loud. "First, I predict the accident, then I fall 20 feet and survive, now that scratch isn’t even there." I hoisted myself on top of the fence and pulled myself over. Rrriiiiip. "Oh crap." I looked down in horror. My skirt was ripped straight down the middle…and on the ground. I lifted it up to my sides and ran to the backdoor.

I grunted as I tried to jiggle the door handle. It was locked, how am I not surprised? "How did I..? Why did I even..? UGH!" I shouted at the door in frustration while jiggling the handle some more, as if it will magically open. But heck, I experienced the impossible today…anything could happen. I took both hands and tried to unsuccessfully yank the knob off. Maybe putting my feet on the door will help? In between grunts I thought I heard someone laugh in the distance. My face was red, and I was sweating, but at least the rain stopped. I heard the laugh again only closer. I jerked my head back, "Who’s there?! This isn’t funny!" My voice was raging. The gate creaked and was opened by some kid in some beat up converse and a hoodie. To my horror it was a boy. My face turned candy apple red.

"I'm sorry…it’s just…you look so…" he said in between gasps. His face was red to, but for different reasons.
"What? You think this funny?! Get out of my yard you…" I stopped mid-sentence. "How’d you open to gate?" I skeptically asked.
"Oh this." I said as he stepped in the yard closing the gate behind him. "I was unlocked."

My eyes practically jumped out of my head. "You’re kidding right?"
What are you looking forward to for the main character?
She needs some romance.
Some more suspense maybe?
She needs some more action.
Some more mystery maybe?
Someone needs to die, like soon.(horror)
