Help Me Understand

Living with today problems and why are they
Are we at war or
are we fighting for oil
help me understand

Is peace the point we are trying
to make to all the others over there
help me understand

Why do we have homeless
and family's with children living
on the street, and eating out of
garbage cans,
help me understand

Why is the death in
our young children on the rise
and why does family's break up
help me understand

If we live in the Land of the Free
and the Home of the Brave why do
we have all these damn problems
please help me understand.
