Hell Angels - Chapter Twenty Two

@ Setsuna: HAHAHAHA Now I don't know if I should post or not! Coz when I don't, you say you'll die but if I do, you say you will die but from happiness! So I'm guessing dying from happiness is better :/ :P So okay, I'll keep posting :P

5. Hahaha yeah, actually I made a book cover because on this other site, one of my friends has an account where your stories can have book covers. So she put up Hell Angels on her account and I made the book cover :)

I don't know why so many stories have suddenly ended!!!! :( Anyway, I posted super fast today coz I might not be able to post tomorrow :P But I tried to make this long-ish XD

"A traitor?" I asked, incredulously.

"Yes. Someone led those humans to the Healers. Someone wants a war" said Stella.

"A war? Between who?"

"Angels and Demons."

"That's impossible. How would humans knowing about Healers lead to a war between Angels and Demons?"
"Think Carma! If humans find out about a race we have kept hidden for so long, someone will definitely wonder how in the world TEENAGE HUMANS suddenly found out about us! Then the blame game will begin. Demons will accuse us Angels by saying we have always wanted everyone to live in harmony and not in secrecy. Meanwhile, we angels will think the Demons
just want humans to find out about us so that they can control and cause havoc upon the humans."

I nodded, "They would." Stella glared at me so I quickly corrected myself, "But it's not like that would cause a war! I mean, thanks to the Law of GoiL..." Stella cut me off, "News of your soulmate battle spread. Do you know how many unhappy soulmates there are? Angels have never really liked spending any time with those vile demons." As Stella said vile demons, her face contorted into anger. She smiled sadly again, "Darla had predicted this a long time ago. The second ending to the world."

"It's called an apocalypse Stella."

"See? Everyone is so used to it; they even gave it a name!"

"But...who would want a war? Did Darla get any clue on WHO the traitor was?"

Suddenly Stella sat up straight, "Darla is sending me frantic Psychic messages. She has received another Vision!"
"Two visions in one day?" I scoffed. Stella glared at me and I grinned, "She must be on a roll!" Stella smiled at my lame attempt to cheer her up, "I'll come back and get you up-to-date. All the Elders will be on the look out."

Suddenly, I gasped. I knew who the traitor was! It had to be....! Stella waited impatiently and I nearly screamed in excitement, "It has to be Levi! I mean, he was on Earth and he IS friends with the three humans who saw the Healers! It can't be a coincidence!!!! He must have led them to the Healers!"

Stella sighed, "It isn't Levi. Yvonne sent Levi to befriend those humans. I was surprised that she did not tell me but she said she was sorry and she only did so because it was an emergency."

I frowned, "Damn. I really wanted it to be Levi. He crept me out today." Stella just winked and then disappeared in a cluster of glittery clouds. I rolled my eyes and walked back out. A traitor among our midst? Wow. How cliche.

I was about to walk back into the school gates when I saw a figure standing right there. I groaned, "What is with you brothers and paying me surprise visits?" Nico grinned, "I just wanted to know if you were up-to-date with the latest."

I nodded, "Yeah. Who knew? A vision. Whoopee."

"You don't seem that excited."

"I'm not. I feel betrayed that we have a traitor amongst our midst."

"You don't even know who it is."

"So? We still have a traitor!"

"True. The Elders already have a list of suspects"

I stared at him in wonder, "They do? Who is on it?"

Nico smiled grimly, "I don't think you would like to know."

"Come on Nico. Don't be like this."

"Fine. Don't blast me into a wall or anything."

"NICO."

Nico stopped and stared at me intently, "I'm only telling you because I trust you. I found out through my shadows. The Elders
were too worried about what Darla's vision meant. They forgot to check dark corners for spying shadows."

"Yes yes Nico. You are too cool. Uber cool. Now spill."

"Well...."

"Nico. Just tell me. Right now."

"You are not going to like this."

"NICOOOOO."

"I'm only warning you."

I glared at Nico. He smiled grimly again, "You. You're one of their prime suspects."

"ME??????" I screamed, furiously. Suddenly I felt this large amount of heat build up inside me and begin wrenching my insides. I screamed again, but this time in pain. The fire felt like it was burning my insides! What was going on?

Nico looked at me in horror, "WHAT'S HAPPENING?" I groaned, unable to speak. I felt it build up one last time and the pain made me collapse. I gasped for breath wondering what in the world was going on. Nico sat down next to me, looking terrified. Then I saw his hands glow green but when he tried to heal me and stop the burning, it got deflected.

The fire grew bigger and bigger and then suddenly, it stopped. I lay panting on the sidewalk, sweating. Nico stared at me, waiting for an explanation. Surprisingly, I felt completely fine. It was like my fire element had suddenly lost all control which was weird. I felt the sky go dark and it began thundering. I looked up to see the symbol of a Halo which meant an Angel had just died.

I gasped from the floor and pointed at the sky. Nico just stared at in wonder. I looked at Nico and then he looked at me, "What just happened to you?" I got up shakily, "I'm not sure. It felt like my insides were burning me alive. It was.....horrible. I thought I was going to die."

Nico shuddered, "Oh no." I looked at him and then suddenly, I saw Levi and Carl running to the gate. Carl saw me sweating and asked, "What happened? Why are you sweating? Why are you all pale and shivery?"

Levi looked at Nico and smiled grimly, "It is beginning." I glared at Nico, "What is beginning?"

Nico looked down at his feet, "What you just felt was fire right? It means someone who practiced majorly in a fire element has just died." My eyes widened. No. It couldn't be. The only person I knew who practiced in a major fire element was Blaze. He couldn't be dead. I ran as fast as I could to the park. I needed to get back! I pounded at the tree begging for some portal to open. Levi, Nico and Carl ran behind me.

Levi looked at me skeptically, "Have you finally lost it? Banging on the poor tree won't help." I cried, "The fire element! It might have been Blaze!!!!" Nico sighed, "You can't be sure. Only people who were close to that person would have felt what you felt."

I nearly began crying right there, "Blaze and me were close! HE WAS MY MENTOR YOU IDIOT!" Carl hugged me, "Carma, don't worry. Levi will make a portal and we'll all go straight to the Elders."

I looked at Levi incredulously, "You can create portals?" Levi ignored me and slowly began chanting stuff under his breath. Finally, a portal opened. I ran through it before anyone else could do anything. Once I was out I landed right on my butt in the court room. I looked around wildly and saw Zairian consoling Darla who was crying, "I could...I...I could have saved him! It was my fault!!!"

I gasped in horror. It was true then. No. No. No. Not Blaze. Not BLAZE. He was my mentor! The crazy Angel who always took my side and sometimes even helped me get away with crazy stuff. Zairian turned around, "Carma?"
I collapsed, "It was Blaze wasn't it?" The pain in Zairian's eyes confirmed it. Darla broke into louder sobs and I screamed, "WHO DID IT?" Zairian just cuddled Darla and nodded his head towards the courtyard. I sighed, poor Zairian. He did not even know. I ran out and found Yvonne and Stella holding Terra back. Terra looked terrible. She looked like Death had taken her through over a thousand deaths.

Then I saw the giant grave, covered in a red shroud. Terra was yelling, "Throw me in with him. I don't want to live! JUST LET ME GO!"

I stepped closer towards the grave. I couldn't believe this. This must have been someone's idea of a sick joke. Blaze was going to come out anytime now and say, "SURPRISE! I GOTCHYA!" and we would all be happy again. I kept willing for it to happen but the fire just got bigger.

Then I felt the tear fall down my cheek. It was impossible. Another tear fell. Then, Terra noticed me, "Carma??" I turned and saw her tear stained face. She ran towards me and hugged me, "You will help won't you? You are going to help me find the sick bastard who did this!" I sniffed. I had to be strong for Terra. She was Blaze's soulmate. She was going through something that was a thousand times worse. I just hugged her closer as her body shook with the force of her sobs. I held her closer, softly whispering, "It's going to be okay. We're fine. Blaze would not want you to cry. He would want you to smile. Terra, it's okay."

I don't know how long I sat there, cuddling her next to his grave. We should have felt cold as the evening turned to night but somehow we were toasty warm...

Finally, Stella came over to us, "Let's go and get some rest okay Terra? Come on." Terra must have drained all the water in her body for sure. She looked so dead, she reminded me of a zombie. I handed Terra over to Stella. Terra looked like this sad dry leaf now. No longer was she the lively tree, it was like she was a hollow shell.

I looked at Terra whose eyes looked absolutely lost, "Terra."

She barely registered my voice but she looked at me with her those lost eyes.
I stood there, the wind blowing around us now, "I vow to find the sick bastard who did this. I promise to make whoever it was pay, Terra. I WILL bring his dead, tattered body for you to stomp all over."

Terra smiled faintly, "Stomp? Oh, no. I'm going to send him to the deepest pits of Hell. Once I'm done with him, Maggots won't find him appetizing."

I nodded; slightly terrified by her haunting voice and Stella quickly led her away. I sighed and turned to look at Blaze's grave. I had to have a talk with Stella and the other Elders soon. Every Angel would have to know, now that an Elder who was one of our kind, was dead. Even the Demons would know.

I groaned, "Blaze. Why you?" I was only greeted by a warm wind which died as soon as it came. I turned around and walked back to the court room. Reality had hit us all hard. Blaze was dead. We had a traitor among us. Whoever that traitor was, had to be powerful. They had to be smart which meant, they probably had accomplices. They were building an army.
I still didn't know why they had killed Blaze. But what I did know was that I meant every word of the promise I had made Terra. Every. Single. Word.

I'm sorrrrrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyyyyyy! I had to do that, I mean, this is all leading to THE WAR!
Hence, someone who meant something to Carma had to die. If I had killed one of the brothers, I bet I would have been hit with Hate Mail so I had to do it to Blaze :'( :'( Damn, he was one of my favorite elders!
Oh, that reminds me! Can you guys please please please do me a favor?
I need you to Vote/Comment on this Story on my friends account. She put Hell Angels into some award thing and it's REALLY REALLY REALLY HARD to get anywhere unless someone notices your story.
