Hell Angels - Chapter Twenty Six (Real)

Sorry, got hacked. Please forgive me for the crapass chappie? Ty! Love You Guys Xd.
Right now, all that was going through my mind was, "Run. Fly. Do something. Just get out now. NOW."

I pretended not to hear Carl and kept walking. My heart was going into overdrive as I tried to walk away like nothing was wrong. I heard footsteps behind me. I whirled around to see Carl smirking, "Wow. Were you really going to just walk away?"

I put my hand on my hip, raised both my eyebrows and gave Carl my best WTF look. I deserved an Oscar for not freaking out right then. Carl sighed, "Ahh. Are you giving me the cold shoulder?" I crossed my arms and tapped my foot impatiently. Meanwhile, I had no idea if anyone could hear me but I was hoping Draco or Icahn or Darla or ANYONE would catch one of my desperately scared psychic messages.

Carl just cracked his knuckles and pretended to stretch. I rolled my eyes, "What is that? Wait. Are you trying to intimidate me? Please."

"I’m not trying to intimidate you, I KNOW I’m scaring you. You were trying to run off like a little chicken. That isn’t the Carma I know."

"You don’t know me anymore."

"Oh don’t be all uptight Carma. You’re sounding more like Stella every day. And trust me, that was no compliment."

I narrowed my eyes at him, "What did you tell Alec?"

Carl shook his head and began chuckling to himself. I stared at him, a little afraid. For some reason, he seemed more of an evil maniac than ever. Carl looked at me coldly, "It’s always about them isn’t it? Boys, Boys and Boys."

"Are you kidding with me? I haven’t even had a proper boyfriend. The only one I did have, chose his freaking JOB over me and the only guy who does like me only likes me because we have some sort of bond or something."

"See, that’s what I’m talking about. You always have problems. AND they’re always ‘guy’ problems. AND every single time, you would come crying to little ‘Carlie’! Well it’s about time I told you that I’m sick of it all."

I glared at Carl, "Well, Aren’t we going a little off topic? Is this why you decided to embrace the dark side? "

"Embrace the dark side? Listen to yourself! If I stayed on the side where I listened to you, I’d sound like some twat from the
Shakespearean era!"

"You wouldn’t even know how to SPELL Shakespeare!"

Carl shrugged, "I don’t have anymore time for this. Seriously."

"So what are you going to do? Hold me hostage so that all my alleged ‘boys’ will come to save me?"

"Exactly. See, this is why we’re related. We think alike. Only, when I said it out loud, I didn’t sound sarcastic. Mine was an actual plan."

"You won’t get away with this."

"That line is so overused. Get a new one. Don’t worry; you’ll have plenty of time to think about it."

"Why are you doing this?"

"Why is the sky blue? Why are leaves green? Why is ice-cream so delicious?"

"You sound worse than a twat from the Shakespearean era."

Carl just smiled innocently, "Sweet dreams big sis."

Suddenly, I felt hands snake around my waist and then, "Sleep little Hell Angel. Sleep. Now."

I felt myself sinking into the arms of Levi. I was so sick of him doing this EVERY TIME.

"Good. You got her this time. Get rid of those humans. They have done their job well. I can sense the Elders coming. Hurry up!"

"Mmm...Mhhhmmm." I tried to struggle a little but I sank into a peaceful sleep...
-
I slowly opened my eyes and immediately winced. There was a bright light shining right into my eyes. I blinked a few times and slowly sat up. I looked around and then, I saw him.

My stomach felt a little funny. Kind of like...as if there were a thousand butterflies in it. He looked at me a little cautiously. I frowned. Why was he looking at me like that?

I slid off my bed and walked towards him. He stood up and held out his arms. I ran into them and snuggled up. I sighed happily, this feeling of safety, comfort and love was way too much to handle.

I looked right into his eyes and smiled, "What happened? Why do you keep looking at me as if you’re just waiting for me to snap?"

Levi smiled back, "No reason babe."

I was just worried. I mean, when Icahn and Draco tried to kill you, you really took a tough knock on the head."

I frowned, "Icahn and Draco?"

Levi looked away sadly, "I just thought you would be super mad at me for not being able to protect you." I pulled his face towards mine and leaned close. I whispered softly, "No. I’d never be mad at you." He put my hands away gently and held them within his own.

"Promise?"

I giggled, "Of course you idiot." He grinned back but he still looked a little cautious. I groaned, "Come on hun, you know I wouldn’t get mad at you. I would NEVER harm you."

Levi looked like he was trying not to laugh. I frowned and pushed him back onto my bed.

"Whatever, Levi." I folded my arms and pouted like a little kid.

He pushed his hair away from his eye and leaned back on the bed. I stood there, still pouting at him. He looked at me, "Come on. I’m sorry. It’s just that I’m mad at myself right now. I’m a little confused."

"YOU are confused? I don’t even remember what happened. Icahn and Draco are my friends! I mean, why would they try to attack ME?"

Levi gasped, "Oh. No. You don’t remember anything!? They tried to kill you and Carl!!"

"CARL!? OH MY GOD! WHERE IS CARL!?"

Levi smiled, "He’s safe. Don’t worry. He is asleep now. Everyone is asleep. It’s like...three in the morning."

"Then why are you still here?"

Levi shrugged, "I couldn’t leave you alone."

I smiled seductively at Levi, "Oh really? So we’re all alone?"

Levi raised an eyebrow and smirked, "Yeah. Why?" I turned around, purposely walking real slow and then turned the stupid bright light off.

I heard Levi rustle the bed sheet a little. "I’ll tuck you in, you must be tired."

I laughed, "Not happening. I am just full of energy. I have a few ideas of how I can tire myself out."

I heard Levi gulp. I smiled to myself, "What’s the matter babe? I thought you were all about being naughty."

He smirked, "I don’t really think we should do anything."

By now I had already made it to the bed. I slowly crept onto it and crawled over to Levi. "This is one big bed."

"Yeah, maybe we should both just go to sleep."

I put one hand on his chest, "I don’t think so. Not that soon." Levi lifted my hand off gently, "We can do this tomorrow. I just don’t think we should do anything we’ll regret."

I snatched my hand away from him and curled into a tiny ball. I felt hurt throbbing through me as I felt his rejection slowly seep over me. Didn’t he love me!? I may not remember anything but what I did remember was I loved Levi and he loved me. What was so wrong in a nice make out session?

I don’t even remember kissing him. I just wanted to remember. I felt his hand touch my shoulder lightly. I flinched away. Levi whispered, "I’m sorry Carma. You should probably just go to sleep."

"Whatever."

Levi pulled me around and before I knew it, he was over me; his hands pinned on either side of me. I stared up into his eyes and he whispered, "Look, you think this isn’t hard for me to say no to you?"

"Then why are you saying no?"

Levi sighed, "Carma. We shouldn’t just go all the way just because..."

I cut him off, "GO ALL THE WAY? Are you crazy? I just want a good old make out session!"
Levi looked taken aback. Then a slow sexy smile crept along his face. Gosh, I just wanted to grab him. I couldn’t believe he was ALL MINE! He leant down and was just about to kiss me when the light was switched on. Levi rolled off me, "DUDE. DO YOU MIND?"

"Yes. I DO." I sat up to glare at whoever had dared to intrude. My breath caught in my throat when I saw Icahn. Oh my god. He had come to kill me. I was NOT going to die without a kiss. I grabbed Levi’s collar and planted my lips on mine. When I kissed him, everything around me ceased to exist. It was just Levi and me. I moaned quietly to myself, but before I got to kiss him any longer, I felt someone pull me off him.

"ARE YOU CRAZY?" roared Icahn. I tried to push him off but he held on too tight. He glared at Levi, "It’s all over. This building has been taken over by the Elders. Every single person in here has been taken down and destroyed. I asked them to leave you for me. I wanted to rip you apart personally."

Before I knew what was happening, Draco walked in calmly and then I saw weird dark vines start engulfing Levi.

I screamed, "STOP IT! Why are you doing this!? Don’t take him! Take me! You want to kill me right? Do it! Don’t hurt him!"

The room fell silent. Icahn just looked at me dumbly, "What? Could you repeat that?" Draco was clenching and unclenching his fists. Levi just looked at them smugly. I stammered,
"I...just...Just don’t harm him okay? Please."

Icahn nearly threw me on the bed in disgust. He glared at Levi, "WHAT THE FU....."

"ICAHN!" yelled Stella. She burst into the room and then looked at me in relief. "Oh thank
god. Carma, we were so worried about you. When Levi and Carl kidnapped you, those humans helped us but it took us nearly a week to find you. We just...."

She stopped when she noticed I was staring at her like she was crazy. I just walked over to Levi who stood there, still smiling smugly. I stood next to him and held hands with him. He smiled down at me and then turned to face the rest of them, "Yeah. The thing is, I realized this crazy plan wasn’t going to work. So I did what I do best. I created an illusion. A nice peaceful world for Carma. She doesn’t know anyone here except for me. She knows you people are evil. All she knows right now is Love. Look at her. Doesn’t she look happy?"

I shrank back a little into Levi as Icahn, Draco and Stella looked at me. I smiled shakily at them. Stella’s jaw fell open. Icahn began growling a little but Stella stopped him. She knelt down in front of me, "Are you really happy?"

Draco snapped, "ARE YOU CRAZY? She’s been HYPNOTIZED! He must have done the same freaking thing to Carl!! I knew we should have kept him locked up in the darkest realms possible!"

I was literally pressed up to Levi right now. Levi just smiled down reassuringly at me. I was so confused. What was everyone talking about?

Icahn looked pained when he stopped Draco from punching Levi. Draco pushed him off, "Not cool." Icahn just brushed him off and looked right at me, "Carma. Are you really happy?"
I shrugged, "Yeah. What more can a girl want? I have a guy who loves me and would do anything for me. Why wouldn’t I be happy?"

Icahn just looked like I had punched him right in the gut. Why did everyone look at me like that!?

He just nodded curtly and walked out. Draco suddenly launched himself at Levi. He punched him hard and kept punching him. Levi didn’t even try fighting back.
I tried pushing Draco off but I couldn’t. Finally Stella did, and Draco stood above Levi panting. Levi stood up acting like nothing had happened. I immediately checked him over. Levi caught my hands and put them by my side. He looked at Stella and Draco, "I’d like you guys to leave. Now. Please."

Draco looked ready to kill him but Stella stopped him again. She looked at Draco sadly, "We can’t do anything. Only Levi can break whatever illusion he put her in. If you kill him, you’ll doom Carma forever."

She looked at me and then pulled me in for a hug. "Weirdly, I’m going to miss you Carma but there isn’t much I can do." Draco looked like he was going to explode. Finally, Stella pushed Draco out and followed him out of the room.

I looked at Levi. Levi just sighed loudly and then looked down at me. I could hear a few more shouts and then everything was silent. He ran his hand through his hair, "Well, I guess that means we’re free now. Wanna go somewhere else?"
I frowned, "What about Carl?"

"Carl is in safe hands. Besides, I had to spend all my energy creating an illusion for you. I had to shatter his world so now I think all he needs is a little help from the Elders."

"Wait a minute. So we’re not really together?"

Levi chuckled, "We are together! I’m not a ghost."

"No, I meant, Are we really a couple then?"

Levi shrugged, "That is entirely up to you. I’ve never actually asked you out on a proper date."
I gasped in mock horror and he laughed. He knelt down, "Carma, would you like to spend an evening with me?"

I pretended to think really hard, "Hmm....what would this evening consist of?"

"A nice stroll on the beach, maybe a movie, dinner, a race and of course, the winner gets cookies."

My eyes lit up, "I’M IN!"

Levi took my hand and led me towards the window. "Let’s go then."

"WHAT? It’s still really late. Now it’s nearly FOUR in the night!"

"Don’t you mean morning?"

I rolled my eyes and Levi grinned, "Come on. Let’s do something crazy!"

He threw open the windows and jumped out, still holding my hand. We unleashed our wings and soared through the skies, still holding hands. We flew silently for some time. It wasn’t an awkward silence, it was a nice, peaceful one.

Then I heard Levi laughing to himself. I looked at him, a little worried. "Levi?"

He shook his head, "I was just thinking about how impossible this all seems. Two weeks ago, you would have never been able to fly by my side."

I stopped midair, "What do you mean?"

Levi froze, as if he had just said something he wasn’t supposed to. Then he calmed down a little and floated above me, "I just don’t think we belong together. I preferred you as the crazy female who hated me."

I narrowed my eyes at him, "Do explain."

Levi shrugged, "I don’t have to. I just need to do this."

Suddenly, a huge bright light blinded me. I started falling through the air. Every second kept giving me my memories back. Carl and me fighting each other off for cookies, Nico and me laughing about something, Draco and me sitting in the Elder court room together, Draco and me bonding and then suddenly I realized I was still falling. I nearly screamed and closed my eyes super tight, expecting myself to die. I began preparing a bed of Earth vines to soften my fall. Since I was concentrating so hard on preparing a bed of vines, my memories stopped for a while. I waited impatiently for my memories but they simply stopped.

I felt like screaming in frustration. LEVI WAS GOING TO DIE. Suddenly, it occurred to me that I still hadn’t fallen onto my waiting bed of vines. I opened my eyes to look right into very familiar icy blue eyes. He still smelt a little of cookies. Cookies? Then my eyes widened as I remembered slowly.

"Icahn?"

And when he looked down at me and smiled as if he was looking at the love of his life, I knew why my memories kept him for last. There was too much of him to remember. I immediately threw my arms around his neck and hugged him. When I opened my eyes again, we were in his giant castle.

I jumped off him, "WHOA. That was one confusing week."

Icahn shrugged, "Yeah."

"Care to explain?"

Icahn smirked, "Not really."

"Please?"

"You already know most of it. All you need to know is the ending."

I smiled, "Which is?"

Suddenly, all the Elder’s burst into the room.

"HOW DARE YOU JUST QUIT?"

"ARE YOU CRAZY?"

"YOU WANTED THIS!"

"YOU HAVE TO WARN US!"

"IT’S IMPOSSIBLE TO JUST QUIT A JOB LIKE YOURS AND EXPECT SOMEONE TO FILL
IN!"

"NOT COOL. WE KNOW YOU’RE FLIPPING OUT AND STUFF BUT STILL."

They all stopped yelling when they noticed me. Stella gasped, "Carma?"

I bowed, "The one and only!"

Then it struck me as to why they were all yelling, "Wait a minute. YOU QUIT?"

Icahn shrugged as if it were no big deal, "I have a brilliant apprentice."

The corner of the room grew a little darker and then Nico stepped in, "Did I get the timing right!?"

Icahn grinned, "Yeah, but you got the lines wrong."

Then Icahn looked at all the Elders, "I would like to introduce you all to your new Justice, Nico Demon!"
