I don't know if it was a thing for all the three brothers to get their hair color changed occasionally, but this was quite frustrating. Levi held a rose out to me. I just looked at him, trying to figure out what he was trying to do. There was definitely something odd about him.

He grinned, "Well? Will you take this beautiful rose or not?" I glared at him, "Why are you offering me a rose?" "I was passing by. I saw this poor dull red rose about to wither away. I thought of you immediately."

I was a little confused right then. What did he just mean by that? Levi smiled lazily and when I still didn't take the rose, he held it against his right shoulder, as if he was putting it close to his heart and comforting it. "Carma, what's the matter?"

He was up to something. I knew he was. Why else would he say something as cryptic as that? I mean, look at the dude! He was a demon, he could hypnotize people by just whispering words into your ear, and he controlled one of the same elements as me: Earth AND I remember Nico saying he was Master of Illusions. All in all, this guy was as badass as his two brothers.

Now that I think about it, talking to someone like Levi, in a dark alley wasn't one of the best choices ever. "Little Carma, what might she be thinking of now?" he asked in a sing song voice. If someone like Sasha had said the same thing, I would have laughed. But when Levi said it, it sent this tiny shivers of fear up my spine. Why was I so crept out? It was just Levi!

Yet, when I looked at Levi, he didn't look like the same strange Levi from back at the courtroom. His hair was a platinum blonde. More platinum though, so it gave his complexion a weird rosy yet pale look. His eyes were strange. I don't think I've ever bothered really looking at Levi's eyes but I just realized, his eyes were a mixture of Draco's and Nico's. He had weird colored eyes. They were gray like Draco's but just when you think they are gray, they look greenish blue like Nico's. So you could conclude that his eyes were greenish-grayish-bluish. Yep.

One eye was covered by the mass of hair on his face so he kept staring at me very intently with that one weird colored eye. Then I saw this weird tattoo on the side of his neck. It looked like an upside down skull on fire! I was sure I had seen that somewhere else.

He had tried to cover it with a weird many stringed leather cord. Hmm....Levi reminded me of these weird humans. He was wearing a black outfit that resembled Carl's. Strangely, he was wearing gloves. My guard was up. Something was very very very odd. Then suddenly, Levi darted towards me. Even though I was waiting for him to attack, I was caught a little off guard. I was thrown against the wall and Levi pinned me there. "Hmm....I thought you were expecting me to attack?"

I just stared at him in wonder. When did he become that fast? Levi smiled that weird creepy smile and released me, "I'm not here to hurt you. I just wanted a hug."

He hugged me hard and once he let go, I was nearly gasping for breath. I stared at him, still a little suspicious. He laughed, "So guess who your mentor is?" "For what?" "To make sure you get along with the humans you treasure nut!"

"Treasure what?" "Quite slow today aren't we?" taunted Levi. I ignored him and stormed out of the alley. Levi kept up with me easily, sometimes just walking round me in circles. I ground my teeth together. He was seriously testing my patience. I walked into school, trying to find Carl and all when I realized Levi was still walking with me.

I glared at him and he smiled, "I would love to have lunch with you but my girlfriend already asked me to eat with her. Catchya later Elevator!"

"Ele-what?" I asked. Levi just rolled his eyes and repeated, "Elevator. Carma, I don't think Earth was meant for you. You're becoming as dull as a lamp post." "Lamp posts light up places Levi."

"Don't be daft."

"Lamps light up stuff! So how can I be as dull as something that lights stuff up??"

Levi sighed in exasperation. I just felt like hitting my head on something. This guy was really annoying. I just looked at him, "Don't you have a girlfriend to go to?"

Levi grinned, "Last time I checked, she was friends with your little brother."

That stopped me right in the middle of the courtyard. How did Levi know about Brie? Brie was HIS girlfriend? That didn't make sense. I thought Stella was not going to tell anyone about this mission. So how did Levi of all people know? "Why are you wearing the same uniform as Carl? Aren't you older than me?"

"Nope. I'm the same age idiot. I just felt like being in the younger classes. I feel so much smarter" said Levi. Of course, Levi would have a stupid reason to wear that uniform. Suddenly Levi grabbed my arm, "There they are! Let's go!!" Before I knew it, Levi ran towards them. Even though I know he was controlling his speed, I was dragged along like a sack of potatoes as he ran towards them. Alec, Sasha and Brie looked delighted to see Levi. Carl, on the other hand was shocked. He looked at me but I just widened my eyes trying to tell him to shut up. Carl narrowed his eyes but kept quiet.

Alec looked at Levi and me and raised his eyebrows, "You two know each other?" Levi answered before I could say anything, "OF COURSE! We go way back!"

I groaned, and sat down next to Carl. Levi sat next to Brie who just glared at him, "Where the hell were you for the past two days?" I grinned, "Shame on you Levi. Leaving your girlfriend all alone? Especially a cute one like Brie?"

Brie grinned at me and then frowned, "EWWWW! Levi and ME? Are you crazy? Levi would be the worst boyfriend ever! He's so mysterious, when he does talk, he talks absolute RUBBISH that only Sasha or Alec can understand since they happen to be as insane as him."

"HEY! That was uncalled-for!" yelled Sasha and Alec simultaneously. Brie just grinned and continued, "Besides, Levi apparently is waiting for his one true love. All the girls in school are going crazy. Even those four barbies." I raised an eyebrow at Levi. What a shameless liar. He called Brie his girlfriend but then it dawned on me. Brie was a girl who was his friend! Humans used the weirdest terms ever. What was wrong with just the word 'friend'?

Levi looked super proud of himself, "Can you blame them? I'm like this perfect specimen of what a good gentleman should be." Saying so, he gave Alec a look. Alec shrugged, "Dude. I refuse to get my hair color back to black. I looked way too lame."

"So you had to dye your hair PURPLE?" yelled Levi. "and Blue" corrected Alec.

"Couldn't you have gone with a nice red? Or perhaps a brown?" suggested Levi.

Alec shook his head. Levi sighed, "Oh well. At least you have gentlemanly manners. Thank god for that." I just kept munching on the cheese sandwich Sasha had bought for me. Alec looked at me, "Yo Carma, I was being a proper gentleman to you this morning right? Tell Levi to shut his trap already!"

I nodded in agreement and Levi settled down looking content. A shadow or rather four shadows fell over our table. I looked up and noticed the same four girls who were in the hallway this morning standing there. They smiled sweetly at Levi and then glared at Alec. Then they noticed Carl and the one who pushed me smiled, "Hey cutie. Who are you? We're the welcoming committee."

"My foot. Welcoming Committee? You'll scare our new students away!" said Sasha, snidely. I let out a small laugh. I looked at Carl and then slowly nodded my head in the direction of the girl who had pushed me. Carl mouthed, "Her?" I nodded.

Carl frowned and then sat back. I glared at him and whispered angrily, "Don't you dare do something! It's our first day back." All four of them kept smiling and ignoring Sasha and me. Then the same girl who talked to Carl introduced herself since she saw Carl wasn't answering her, "I'm Nancy. You must be Carl right?" Carl merely nodded and then turned to Brie, "Hey Brie, Can I get you something else?" Brie shook her head. She was thrilled to see that Carl was ignoring Nancy and talking to her.

Nancy glared at Brie and then still tried talking to Carl, "You can sit with us and ditch these freaks." Carl turned and glared at Nancy, "Excuse me?" Nancy immediately took two steps back. Carl's glares were scary. Carl kept glaring, "Did you just call my sister and everyone else here a freak?"

Nancy just glared back after some time when she realized Carl did not want to have anything to do with her, "Whatever. Major loser."

I smiled at Carl who grinned at me like he had just won a major battle. I smiled back. It was so cute the way Brie kept grinning at him like he was some hero. But all this time, I had kept my eyes trained on Levi. He was up to something. Brie, Alec and Sasha knew him. If they knew him, it was obvious that he had been on Earth for quite some time. Why was Levi on earth? Why hadn't Stella mentioned it? Did she even know?

I frowned, staring at the rose Levi had tried to offer me. He kept it in his pocket and looked so sad. Levi finally looked my way and smiled slowly. I just fake smiled back and took my cell out.

~Carlie? We have a prob.~

~Whew. I thought I was the only one who thought Levi was up to something.~

~Sigh. What is he even doing on earth?~

~I dunno. Ask Stella the next time you see her. And avoid running into dark alleys.~

~Okay.~

I needed to talk to Stella. Asap. Once I was done with my sandwich, I excused myself and went straight to the park. Stella was sitting in the tree, waiting for me.

"Stella, what is Levi doing HERE? Not to mention, he has been HERE for quite some time." Stella smiled sadly, "I guess humans finding out about us was not the worst news ever. Darla had a vision."

My eyes widened. She was psychic but she rarely got visions. Visions were only to declare that we were in grave danger or something really really good was going to happen. From Stella's sad smile I'm guessing the news was not good. At all.

I gasped, "No. What did she see?"

Stella lowered her head as if the thought was unspeakable, "Apparently, we have a traitor within our midst."

Sorry about this chapter guys :P I know it's a little boring but just go with it for some time please? I swear it gets better! This is all leading to something you guys never saw coming XD
You might want to kill me for the upcoming twist though. :P
