Hell Angels - Chapter Twelve

Yeay! My first LONG chapter. Now I can go and hide under my blanket for a few days and snore away. :P

I walked into the Elder's courtroom grinning because I finally had a chance of freeing myself from Draco, Nico and Levi. I was a little confused because I wasn't sure if Levi was bonded or not. If he was, I wasn't that bothered. There would just be more asses to kick!

If he wasn't...well, my job would be a little easier. Not that much since I was taking on Draco the Shadow King and an Elder but also because Nico was Prince of Shadows and had mastered major control on his healing abilities. I grinned insolently at all the Elders but my smile softened a little for Blaze and Zairian. They had always been there for me except recently. My eyes went back to Stella who looked shocked to see me. Actually all of them did. I noticed the eighth Elder throne was empty. Where was Draco? Why wasn't he back from wherever Roxy had sent him?

I frowned at my conscience. I didn't care about him or Nico. I hope they rotted away. Suddenly Yvonne lit up and smiled at someone behind me. "Draco! Welcome back!" she said, enthusiastically. I turned around slowly and saw Draco standing behind me, his eyes narrowed into tiny slits. For a minute, I imagined Draco and me kissing like how Matt had kissed Roxy. My cheeks turned red and I made sure my mind was still shielded. If ANYONE saw that piece of imagination, I would have killed myself.

The doors to the courtroom opened again and Roxy and Carl walked in. I stared at them in horror. They were supposed to remain hidden! Our plan was simple. Even though I was confident of winning, there was a tiny piece of me that kept thinking about the part where I would lose. If I were going to lose, Roxy and Carl were going to burst in, open a portal and we would all get ourselves out of there safely.

But now their cover was blown. Nico walked in grinning behind them. Roxy mouthed, "I'm sorry!" Carl just kept turning to glare at Nico. "Well Well Well, Look what we have here. Carma and her little friends formed a group together. Too bad, your party is finally over" said Icahn. I rolled my eyes, "First, Roxy is older than me. So she can't be little. Second, We didn't form a stupid group. We just stick to one another because we're all we have. Third, I WALKED in here. No one had to drag me back here." Blaze smirked a little but Stella stood up in anger and yelled, "Carma! How dare you be insolent to an Elder?" I was about to answer her when Draco clamped his hand on my shoulder, "Stella, I'm sure Carma is very sorry." I was about to interrupt and say I wasn't when he clenched my shoulder a little tighter and continued, "But you should be mad at another one of your kind. I believe his name is Matt Angel." Carl sniggered a little when he heard Matt's name. I swear I heard him mutter, "Gay name for a Gay dude."

All the Elders turned to glare at Carl who looked at them innocently with big eyes. I turned around and hissed, "Carl! Quit the whole Matt is gay thing! Plus, all Angels have the same last name! Besides, your last name sounds stupider." Carl stuck his tongue out at me and then argued, "Carl Demon does not sound stupid!"

"SILENCE." I quickly turned back and looked at Yvonne who seemed furious. "Where is the third brother?" she asked. "Yo! I'm right here! Don't get your old Elder panties in a twist" announced Levi, while walking in as well. My eyebrows went super high while Yvonne just smiled! YVONNE SMILED? She would have killed me if I had said anything like that! Even Roxy looked shocked.

I groaned, "Can I just tell you why I'm here so we can get over all of this? Because, frankly, I do NOT want to talk about an Elder's underwear being in a twist, thank you very much." Zairian pursed his lips to keep himself from laughing while Yvonne glared at me. Stella put her hand on Yvonne's shoulder and said, "She has a point." When Yvonne turned to glare at Stella, Stella quickly cleared her throat and addressed Draco, "Well? Why would I unleash my fury on innocent Matt? He has been a clear help to all of us. He is an example to all teenage boys." Carl sniggered again but before he could make a smart remark, I silenced him with an icy look.

Draco had let go of my shoulder and flew over to his seat. Once he sat down so he could look down at me from his stupid seat, he continued, "Matt stole an old parchment. I believe it had to do with The Law of GoiL." All seven Elders gasped at the same time. Gosh, could this get any stupider?

"Okay. Before I get interrupted again, I am here to challenge my soulmate or rather soulmates to a duel. If I win, my bond WILL be broken." Draco frowned and Nico just glared at the walls behind the Elders. Levi looked bored. I smiled innocently at all the Elders. There was silence in the courtroom until Draco spoke. "I object as an Elder."

"You can't use your Elder vote! You're one of my soulmates!" I whined. Draco looked at Yvonne and Stella. Stella looked a little upset but it was obvious that Yvonne made this decision. "You may vote as an Elder."

I folded my arms angrily while Draco smiled down at me triumphantly. Well, there were still seven more votes that were unspoken for. "I think Carma should get a chance to live her life. She is a hell angel after all!" murmured Blaze. He looked at Terra who shrugged. He grinned and announced, "Terra and I vote for Carma to fight." I grinned up at him and Terra while he just winked at me. I had two votes! Icahn looked around at everyone, waiting for their decisions. Stella voted in my favor. I smiled at her gratefully. She just blinked and looked away but there was a tiny smile on her face. Yvonne looked at Stella in disappointment. She obviously voted for Draco's side. Zairian and Darla seemed deep in their mind conversation but it looked like they were arguing.

Finally Zairian sighed and announced, "Darla has chosen to vote for Draco while I choose to vote for Carma." I pouted at Darla but she mouthed a sorry and then looked away.

So till now, Stella, Blaze, Terra and Zairian had voted for me. I was obviously going to win until I realized Icahn had not voted. If he voted for Draco, it would be a deadlock. I crossed my fingers while all the Elders looked at Icahn who sat in his frozen throne with his eyes shut as if he was in deep concentration. Even Roxy and Carl had their fingers crossed while Nico, Draco and Levi were all completely still. I could literally hear my heart thumping furiously in anticipation.

Finally, Icahn opened his electric blue eyes. They seemed to pierce right through me. I shivered slightly. I could literally see blizzards and storms in his cold eyes. He blinked once and then again. Finally he spoke calmly, "Before I cast my vote, I want to know......what happens if you lose?"

I looked at Icahn straight in the eye, "Well, I'm at their mercy then." Icahn leaned back into his chair and looked at Stella, "What does the Battle Script say?" Stella recited the words as if she knew all of them by heart, "Battle of GoiL. When a soulmate wishes to break their respective bond, they may challenge their soulmate to a duel. The Elder's may then vote upon this. If the soulmate gets a maximum amount of votes, the battle shall ensue immediately. If the soulmate wins, the bond shall be broken, setting the respective soulmate free. There is a condition on this soulmate's freedom. They must make sure that they find a suitable soulmate of the opposite race by a week. If not, their bond will be restored to make sure The Law of GoiL stays intact. If the soulmate loses, they shall be bonded to their soulmate in such a way that they might not ever be able to even think of leaving their soulmate again." Stella sat down, looking proud for reciting that entire speech.

"Umm....Stella, I wanted to ask.....what does the Script mean by that last line?" I asked, a little terrified of the answer.
Blaze burst out laughing and Terra began giggling. I looked at them in astonishment. Then Zairian and Darla began laughing and then Yvonne began giggling. Okay, I knew the Elders were weird but now they were definitely losing it. Stella smiled and stopped herself from laughing. I looked at Draco and Nico to see if they knew but when I looked at them, they both turned red and looked away. I looked at Levi who shrugged and said, "Beats me. All I know is everyone has gone wacko."

What was with Levi and talking weirdly? I then turned to Carl and Roxy who looked as mystified as I did. I looked at Icahn who had shut his eyes again but there was a small smile on his face. Wow. What did everyone find so funny that it got a guy like Icahn the weird freezer, to smile?

I folded my arms waiting for Icahn to announce his vote when Stella whispered, "Are you sure you don't know honey?" I shook my head furiously. "Think..." she urged. I shut my eyes like Icahn and began thinking of the things Blaze would find funny. But then why would the Elder's laugh too? And why did Draco AND Nico turn RED? I frowned, trying to concentrate when I realized everyone had gone quiet. I opened my eyes to see that Icahn had opened his eyes. Icahn smirked, "This should be very interesting. I wish to vote for that idiot down there."

He obviously meant me, since all the Elders were sitting in weird thrones above us. "Who are you calling an idiot?" I asked. Icahn sighed a little and then spoke in the same calm voice that was beginning to infuriate me, "Well, quite obviously you. Shouldn't you be grateful to me for helping you? Beside you HAVE to be an idiot to not realize what Stella meant."

I was too busy being happy to care. I looked at Nico and Draco and yelled, "Let's duel, cowards!" Draco looked at Nico and Levi, who shrugged. Draco stood up and then Yvonne gasped, "Wait!" she turned to Stella, "What does the Script say about THREE soulmates?" Stella frowned a little and then answered, "Actually Carma only has two. Levi did not BOND with her. Only Nico and Draco did. According to the scriptures, it says, If there is a rare case of a soulmate having two soulmates, she must choose one as her permanent soulmate first. Then only can she fight." I looked at Draco and Nico who were both standing in front of me. Levi was surprisingly not bothered and was leaning against a wall. "I don't want to choose. I hate both of them." Icahn smirked and stood up, "I was hoping you would say that. So predictable." He flew down and stood beside me.

He turned me towards him and then held my face in his hands. "What are you doing?" asked Stella, sounding shocked. Draco and Nico both jumped and began unleashing their respective elements. Icahn shook his head slightly and jumped back, holding me against his chest. I held on for dear life because Icahn was moving at an incredibly fast speed as he was dodging both of their attacks. Draco and Nico stopped and landed in front of him. "Release her" they said simultaneously. Icahn bent down so his chin was resting on my head, "Only if all of you follow the Battle Script."

I pushed him away and said, "What do you think I've been doing all this time?" Icahn looked at me and asked, "So all of you WILL follow all the rules no matter what?" All three of us nodded solemnly. Icahn's head tilted to one side slightly and then he said, "Well then, Draco and Nico, you may kiss her."

I backed away, "WHOA. What?" Icahn smirked, "You can't choose right? The Script says, in cases like yours, when you kiss your soulmates and the Law of GoiL deems you two to be perfect, red smoke will appear around that soulmate." I looked at him skeptically. Icahn returned my look with a charming smile, "Unless you're too scared to. If you are, I understand. Then I guess, everyone will have to return to wherever they came from as nothing will change."

I was scared. Icahn knew I would never admit it though. I turned to Draco and kissed him quickly. Then I turned to Nico and kissed him quickly too. Then I backed away really fast and stood near Carl and Roxy. Carl and Roxy stared at me with smug grins on their face. I could feel my face heating up slowly. I risked a glance at Draco and Nico. They both looked stunned.

Icahn was staring at them like they were going to explode or something. Then suddenly, red smoke appeared between both of them. My eyes widened. Icahn kept looking at the smoke intently. All the Elders had stood up and were literally falling off their places trying to get a look. Levi had waved and walked out. Right before he walked out, he said, "When you win, give me a call. You need a Demon as your soulmate anyway."

I looked back at Nico who was completely enveloped by red smoke. Then I saw the red smoke slowly creep around Draco as well. Soon both the brothers were covered completely by red smoke. I groaned, "You've got to be kidding with me." Icahn grinned like he had won the lottery and announced, "I declare this Duel, between Carma and Draco and Nico to have begun!"

He bowed and then flew up to his throne. Since Draco and Nico were still covered in red smoke I took this chance to make sure I had them trapped by Earth's vines since that had proved effective before. But when my vines tried to hold onto them, it couldn't as no one was there. Nico appeared behind me and attacked.

I was thrown against the wall by his stupid shadows. Draco appeared beside me, "Hello Beautiful. You left your vines back there. Here, let me return it to you." Before I knew it, my own vines that I had tried to use to hold Nico and Draco, wrapped themselves around me. I tried to struggle but they kept tightening. I gasped a little and Nico and Draco smirked. They stood in front of me and then asked, "Want to accept defeat now honey?" While they were smiling smugly, I had summoned fire to slowly burn the vines. I threw a blast of fire at them and tore the vines apart, "Over my dead body."

"Sorry darling" teased Draco. He appeared behind me thanks to his Shadow abilities and held my arms behind my back. "But we love you too much to kill you" continued Nico. Nico began summoning a huge energy ball. I knew that move! He had used it once to suck all the energy out of someone. Just as he released it, I jumped over Draco and pushed him right into Nico's attack.

Draco got hit by it and was sent crashing into the ground. I landed on my feet and smiled, "Thanks Sweetheart. You really helped!" I taunted back. Draco's energy had definitely been sucked and now as he stood up, shaking a little, I knew all his Shadow abilities were gone for some time. I launched myself at him and Draco looked at Nico who nodded, "I'll hate you for it but I think we might win if you do that."

Ignoring Nico, I knocked him out of the air and then aimed straight for Draco. Right before I punched him, Draco caught by arms and pulled me into him. "Whoaaa!" I screamed, as I lost balance. Draco lifted my chin up and kissed me. His hands went around my waist as he held me tighter. I began weakening and then I realized what he was doing. He was stealing my energy through that crazy soulmate bond! I kicked him in the shin and pushed him away. My heart was going crazy and my lips were still tingling. Was it even fair to have TWO soulmates who looked drop dead gorgeous AND were amazing at kissing me? I was so sure he had heard that since he was grinning a lot. I immediately shielded my mind again. Somehow, my shield had been forgotten about while I was trying to avoid their frequent attacks. Nico appeared behind me and then whispered into my ears, "Oops. Looks like your power just got sucked up." I turned to shoot a wall of fire at him but I couldn't summon any energy. I gasped as I slowly backed away.

I banged right into Draco who was standing behind me. I turned and narrowed my eyes at them, "That was low guys. Too bad, you forgot about my healing abilities." I tried to heal myself but my powers still didn't come back. Nico grinned, "That was my job. While you were busy kissing Draco, I absorbed the rest of your energy."

"You...I....wha...WHAT?" I stammered. I still refused to give up. Icahn stood up and said, "Sorry Carma, but this duel is officially over. Quite a fight."

"I'm not done yet!" I yelled. I jumped into the air and kicked Draco straight in the face. Before Nico could do anything, I pulled him towards me and kissed him. He tried to struggle at first but then, he pulled me towards him. I made sure my hands were around his neck to prevent him from pulling back. I grinned once I had enough energy and let him go. Nico grinned back and said, "Sorry babe. I'm not letting you go that easily."

Saying so, Nico pulled me back to him, held me close and then bent down to kiss me. Not like a power sucking one.....A REAL, sweet and gentle kiss.
