Draco's eyes immediately turned a silvery gray when he noticed the horror in my eyes. So he was an Elder? So now there were eight Elders? Why would Draco WANT to be an Elder?
***Because I'm as powerful as one of them***
Brilliant, He's still psychic.
***Did you think I simply lost my psychic abilities?***
I really did not want evil Elder Draco reading my head. I concentrated on a huge metal shield. Nico had taught me how to use healing abilities to shield your mind. I glared at Draco, daring him to try that again. Draco simply pursed his lips and then I was thrown back against a rock. Before I could even get up Draco had bashed the rock behind me by throwing a huge shadow at me. I flew back again. I groaned in pain and twisted in agony. My eyes flew open when I heard Draco walking towards me. I stood up even though my spine felt like collapsing.
He grinned wickedly and kept strolling towards me like we were walking on the beach and not like he was trying to kill me. I unfurled my wings but Draco took advantage and threw Shadow Blades. Shadow blades are terrible to get hit with. Not only do they cut you, they feed off you for five seconds or so to weaken you. I fell to my knees and my hair blew all over my face. I could see Draco's feet still walking towards me. I was NOT going to go down without a fight. My forehead creased in concentration and I felt myself growing hot.
Draco paused when I stood up completely unharmed. I don't know what happened but I was completely fine. I didn't waste time checking myself out and simply flew at Draco throwing Fire Dragons and Earth Spirits. All the elders remained shocked as they stared at me. Draco was being held down by the Earth spirits while Fire had definitely weakened him. I looked down and nearly screamed. My hair was suddenly mellow brown like it was an autumn leaf. Leaves were fluttering all around me. Had my healing powers manifested in such a way that they made my Earth element more powerful? Was Earth more effective against Shadow? Only one way to find out.
My wings bristled a little when I realized I now wore a brown leafy dress. No wonder Draco had paused. I looked like an innocent KID who was changing seasons. I gritted my teeth and immediately began throwing Spiked Poisoned Vines at Draco. He blocked them by starting another hurricane of shadows. I jumped back to avoid being sucked in.
This was insane! Why was all of this happening in MY DREAM? I looked around me and it suddenly occurred to me that this was the same beach on which I had seen that weird guy. The Elders remained stationary and instead glanced at Draco who was in the middle of his own hurricane trying to move the hurricane which was now slowing down thanks to the Vines which were trying to stop it. I swore loudly and Stella heard me. "CARMA! YOU STILL HAPPEN TO BE HALF AN ANGEL!" I stuck my tongue out at her and gestured rudely with my finger. She gasped and I thought I heard Blaze laugh. Not that I cared anymore.
All the Elders were the same. No wonder Nico hid from them. Now, Draco was just like all of them. A stupid, power hungry idiot who thought he was awesome because he possessed the title of an Elder. This time I made sure I had unshielded my mind. Draco stopped his hurricane and looked at me. Darla's jaw fell open when she heard me. Even Zairian had come now and had heard me. He looked hurt. The old Carma would have been saying she was sorry a million times but now I was SICK of this. I finally saw what the Elders really were. A bunch of old freaks who didn't want Hell Angels overpowering them.
Darla snarled, "Enough." Draco turned to look at Yvonne and flew over to her. I looked at each of them standing in order against me, the newly evolved Hell angel who looked like autumn. Draco, Yvonne, Stella, Darla, Zairian, Terra, Blaze and Icahn remained where they were and glared at me. Finally Icahn spoke, "You can join us Carma.....even if you had hidden your healing abilities we can forgive you. We can learn more about your new ability. Apparently it helped you find a way to increase your Earth element. You might be able to unleash your Fire element with our help."
I gasped in horror. Draco TOLD them? I glared at Draco with all the hatred I could muster. Draco stood straight but he looked away. That freak was going down so hard. Blaze began walking towards me, "Carma, I can help you...."
"Stay the hell away from me" I said steadily, without raising my voice. Blaze immediately stopped. He looked sad but Terra put her arm around him. I smirked and then said, "So I guess the next time I meet you....It won't be pretty because trust me....You guys are going to regret messing with me and my life." Stella opened her mouth to speak but I cut her off, "Oh and one more thing, The Law Of GoiL? IT SUCKS and I REFUSE to follow it anymore." All the Elders gasped except for Draco who suddenly fell to his knees clutching his stomach.
I didn't bother asking though I felt my spine sending insanely cold shivers up my back like I was not functioning properly. I probably wasn't since I had just refused the Law Of GoiL. "YOU STUPID GIRL! You broke the BOND?" screamed Yvonne. She must have been angry since her newest student Draco or rather the newest Elder was going through tons of pain thanks to me. I grinned and waved at the other Elders, "Later losers!" I winked at Icahn who was staring at me like I had finally lost my mind. I finally looked at Draco who had collapsed again.
Just before I wished myself to awaken I heard Draco in my head.
***If you think I'm going to let you get away with this, think again***
Well then, I'll be waiting to kick your Shadow King ass.
