My eyes snapped open taking in the surroundings. I was on a beach, exactly like the one in my dream. I looked around to see myself trapped in a green dome. I ground my teeth together and sat down thinking of how I was going to make the person who kept me here suffer.
"So you're finally awake. I thought I hit you with too much. Sorry about that. I had to make you come without you making a huge fuss." I turned to see the same Healer I was looking for. "Look Healer, I have no idea why you did this but once my companions find out, you're going to be barbequed and sent into the deepest darkest area of the shadows" I snapped. He frowned and muttered to himself, "She...what? That's weird. How come? Insane...."
"I'm still in here you know! Stop ignoring me!" I yelled. He looked back at me with his intense green eyes. "HOW DO YOU NOT REMEMBER ME?????" I backed away and glared at him, "DUDE YOU BROUGHT ME HERE!!! How would I know YOU?" This time, he backed away. "Did I knock you out too hard? Is that why you don't know me? You knew me at the beach didn't you? COME ON! You stuck your tongue out at me! But...you have changed! You're prettier than you were."
Now I was definitely freaked out. Who was this guy? I kept looking at him like he was crazy until he fell on his knees and he held his head in his hands. Then he dropped his hands and asked, "Are you SURE?"
I nodded slowly. He stood up and started walking around like a lost soul. He stopped suddenly and literally jumped with enthusiasm. This guy was definitely bonkers. He jumped back near the dome and said, "You came looking for me! That has to mean that some part of you still remembers me."
"Actually, I came to beg you to not call any Elders and if you refused I would have pulverized you." He immediately stopped jumping around and sat down in a sulk. "You're still as mean as ever big sis." All time seemed to freeze when he said that. "What did you just call me?"
"You are my elder sister!! How could you forget about ME? Your younger bro? I'm Carl remember? You healed me back to life when those evil people tried to KILL me! You told me to stay hidden! You said you would come back for me! It's been over seven years!! I'm freaking 13! You know how hard it was staying on Earth thinking you were probably dead or kept prisoner somewhere?"
Tears began welling up in my eyes. I'm not the emotional type and it was highly possible that he was lying. But I couldn't deny the fact that he had a lot of the same features as me. Big eyes that I bet were as dark as mine like before until he began learning about his Healing element, both of us always had the same sweet smile though I bet his was cuter since he was still so small, he had crazy hair like me and the part that clinched the deal was he got rid of the dome, ran towards me and hugged me. He felt right. I hugged him back crying like an absolute idiot and even he was sniffling a little. I hugged him tighter. How could I not know about my own brother? I healed him? Who had tried to kill him? I immediately stopped hugging him.
"Who tried to kill you Carl? Who was it? I believe you but....I can't believe I wouldn't remember having a brother." He grinned a little and poked my cheek, "You're so girlyyyyy. I don't remember much. All I know is I was going to die. You protected me, picked me up and hid me somewhere. You healed me and then before you left, you promised me you would come back. I told you not to go back to them but you didn't listen. You were just 12. I waited for an entire night in the cold, waiting and waiting but you never came back. So I got up and for the past seven years, I've been learning more and more about my healing abilities. I guess when you healed me, something sparked inside me. I wanted to find you but I didn't know how to."
I hugged him again and he groaned like a little kid, "We're reunited and stuff but do you HAVE to ruin it by hugging me like this the whole time??" I giggled a little and poked him. I ruffled his hair and laughed again when he complained about how much taller I was. "So can you fly Carl?"
"DUH. How do you think I tackled you from behind?" "Oh right. Thanks for that." "Can you blame me? I didn't know how you would react plus I had to make sure you were my sis."
"Come on kiddo. Let's go back. Wait till you meet Nico and Roxy. They're going to love you!" I exclaimed. He grinned and we both spread our wings, ready to fly. "Wanna race? I always kicked your ass back then" taunted Carl. "Keep dreaming little bro! I'm going to win easily." Once we were above the clouds we started speeding up. I was ahead of him when suddenly; he shot past me and yelled, "HAHA! Tricked you!"
That little brat! He tricked me into thinking he was slow! I hated to admit it, but he was pretty fast. We finally reached an alley near the breakfast joint. We walked into it looking for Nico. Once I spotted him, I began walking towards him when I stopped. He wasn't alone. Draco and Levi sat with him smiling smugly.
I stared in horror when I heard Carl gasp. I turned to him and whispered, "Don't worry Carl. We'll get this over with."
He shook his head furiously and then whispered back, "That's them. They......CARMA!! Are you insane? That's them!! They tried to kill us! They are the evil guys!"
