Hell Angels - Chapter Five

Nico and Roxy were going to kill me. Our first night in human territory and I had let a human see me. I immediately jumped off from the tree and walked away. I kicked a stone on my way and began humming a tune.

I glanced down at the tattoos on my hand and groaned. I guess I better return now instead of Nico coming after me. I growled angrily as I muttered the words "Help me return to my master." I slowly began vaporizing. My legs were slowly turning into mere shadows. I heard someone gasp. I turned around in shock. It was the same guy from the party. Before either of us could say anything, I had vaporized into thin air.

I landed in Nico's lap. Roxy and Nico were in a dimly lit room. Roxy lay sprawled over the bed while Nico lay leisurely on the couch. "Can you actually see.....?" I stopped myself when I realized I was back with Nico and Roxy. Nico had his eyes closed and Roxy kept her head buried under a pillow. I sighed in relief. They were both asleep. I slowly got off Nico's lap when Nico clenched my wrist. I squealed and Roxy woke up with a start.

I looked guiltily at both of them and stammered, "So...Sorry! Didn't mean to wake yo..you." Roxy flopped back onto her pillow. Nico let go of me and I walked to the bathroom. Once I was in, I sighed in relief again. They hadn't suspected anything. What about that boy? He saw me! I know he did! But how? I had managed to stay invisible! He looked around our age or rather Nico's age. So he was about 17. I didn't really remember much about him. I closed my eyes and tried to remember something. Strangely, I could remember nothing about him! It was like my memory had been erased.

I quickly had a shower and wrapped myself in a huge fluffy towel. I peeked outside and Nico and Roxy were still on the couch and bed. I cleared my throat and both of them looked at me. "Could you guys please step out so I can change?" Nico stood up and Roxy groaned. She buried her head under the pillow and said, "I swear I won't peek. Trust me, I'm straight. It's Nico you have to worry about."

I looked at Nico who walked towards me instead of towards the door. I slammed the bathroom door shut and locked it. Nico knocked on the door and said, "I wasn't going to molest you. I was just going to help you find an outfit." I scoffed in disbelief and Nico continued, "If I were going to attack you, I could easily appear on the other side of this door. I'm a Shadow Master remember? Look, I'll just show you a trick I learned." I slowly opened the door making sure my towel was wrapped around me tightly. Nico shook his head at my innocence and then pointed at me. His finger began glowing and my towel changed into a modest nightgown. Roxy looked at me with her eyebrows raised and Nico pointed at her too. Roxy groaned when Nico dressed her in a pink fluffy nightgown.

I giggled a little and then asked, "How in the world did you do that? There is no way Healing abilities allow you to do that." Nico shrugged, flopped back onto the couch and said, "Apparently Healing covers a lot of areas. I was simply changing the towel in such a way that you could say I healed the towel. That's the only explanation I can come up with." I rolled my eyes and flopped on the bed next to Roxy. "So I could do that if I wanted?" I asked.
"Practice makes perfect." Roxy laughed at Nico and then said, "But nobody is perfect." I laughed too and continued the phrase for Roxy, "So why practice?"

Nico groaned and threw a pillow at us. We both ducked and snuggled under the blankets. Nico 'healed' his couch and made it more suitable for him. The day's activities slowly caught up to me and my eyelids began to droop. Right before I fell asleep my memory sparked and an image of the boy at the bonfire finally appeared before my closed eyes.
