Hell Angels - Chapter Eleven

I stood there staring at Matt with the hugest eyes I could muster. I think the information was still trying to sink in. Matt rolled his eyes and then hugged me. "Don't worry Carma. That's why I'm here!" I raised an eyebrow. I loved Matt and all but all he could do was shield minds. Plus, he was an innocent angel. So, normally, he did not like violence.

I was going to tell Matt about this when Carl said it for me. "Dude, YOU'RE GAY. Even if your linked to Roxy, you're still an ANGEL. You despise violence! No offense, but you can't fight because all you can do is shield somebody's mind!" I winced a little at Carl's harsh tone. Matt ignored Carl and looked at me to see if I agreed. I shrugged helplessly. Carl was right.

Matt frowned, "Well thank you for that vote of support Carma!" I gave him a tiny smile and Roxy added, "You can't blame us. Carl is a demon while Carma and I can kick a lot of ass as we are Hell Angels. No offense babe, but we don't want you getting in our way or getting hurt."

Matt grinned at Roxy, "Did you just call me babe?" Roxy turned red, "Get out of here." Matt turned to look at me, "Well, I figured my little Carma would be VERY hopeless since you never paid attention in class. Hence, I studied a lot and finally, I came to a solution. Would you like to listen or keep showering me with insults?"

Carl was about to say something when I clutched his shoulder. Hard. He winced, but he shut up. I blinked a little, confused. "STUDIED? Matt, your best friend a.k.a ME was in danger of being hunted down and all you can talk about is me not paying attention in class? But in my defense, class was totally boring. They never allowed us to try stuff out except in martial arts."Matt folded his arms and glared at me. "I'm sorry Mattie! Continue!" I begged in the most angelic voice I could use. "Say please." "What? Are you kidding?" This time, Matt raised an eyebrow.

" Fine....PLEASE!" He smiled and said, "Good. Gosh, just a few days out of my company and you forget your manners. Anyway, I want no interruptions when I'm talking. Understand?" All three of us nodded. Matt cleared his throat and began, "Once upon a time..."

"Do we look like we're sitting around a camp fire waiting for a story?" asked Carl. "Seriously, why do all stories have to begin with that line?" asked Roxy. "DUDE. Can't you be a little more creative?" whined Carl. "Yeah!" agreed Roxy. "Guys. We're supposed to shut up and listen" I hissed.

"Thank you for that. Now, as I was saying, Once upon a time...." continued Matt. Carl yawned loudly. We all glared at him and he shrugged his shoulders, "WHAT? I'm a kid okay? I get bored when I can't fight people." He leaned against me and closed his eyes. Matt ignored this and continued, "The Earth was a happy place. There were nice people everywhere but then, evil began to arise when the emotion Envy began taking its vengeance. Soon, the Earth was shattered with all the Envy, Hatred, Greed and War. There was more than that, which played with people's emotions. The darkness and shadows welcomed all. Then, we were born to restore Earth to its former glory. To maintain the balance of good and evil, The Law of GoiL came into order. It states that a Demon's evil must be contained by an Angel's innocence. It is called the Law of GoiL as it is actually made up of the words GOod and evIL. Basically, Angels HAVE to mate with Demons or vice versa."

Carl had begun snoring slightly and Roxy was staring at Matt mesmerized. "SHUT UP. So if I break the Law of GoiL I might send the Earth back into chaos?" Carl woke up due to my loud outburst and Matt simply shook his head, "Teenage girls and their whole 'the world revolves around me' attitude."

Roxy and I both narrowed our eyes at him. He backed away a little and said, "Well, not really. You won't send the world into chaos as long as you end up mating with a Demon."

"But I don't want to mate with Draco, Nico OR Levi!"

"Umm....You don't have to mate with them!"

"Matt, make your damn mind up!" I roared furiously.

"Such disgraceful language!"

"MATT!"

"Apologize for using the D-word right now!"

"MATT! STOP TRYING TO CHANGE THE TOPIC."

"I'm not. I refuse to divulge any more information until you stop
yelling and when you apologize for using that foul language."

"I refuse!"

"Then, go fly a kite."

"WHAT?"

"Go. Fly. A. Kite."

"MATT. Fine, I'm sorry! I apologize!"

"For?"

"I apologize for the foul language and the yelling."

"Goooood. Now we can get back to business."

All this while, Roxy and Carl had been looking at Matt and then me as we kept throwing words at each other. Carl turned his neck from one side to the other and then said, "Whoa. My neck actually hurts from looking at Matt and then Carma, then Matt and Carma again!" Roxy nodded in agreement as she turned her neck too. "Who knew Matt had guts to fight off my sister?"

"She would never harm me" assured Matt. "I'm not too sure about that. If you don't explain yourself right now, I WILL have to do something about it" I warned. "Okay okay! Carma, you need to meditate more often. You have Anger Management issues. You can fight against the Law of GoiL. If you have a duel against your soulmate and you win, you can break it. BUT, If they win, you are at the mercy of their hands."

"WHAT? But I have more than one soulmate!" "Three, to be precise" said Carl. "Carl, you're not helping right now!" I snapped. He shrugged and then a look of horror flashed across his face, "WAIT. So she has to fight off THREE soulmates at the same time?"

"You're not as dumb as you look kid" said Matt. Carl grinned happily until he realized it was an insult. He was about to call Matt gay when I interrupted, "All three at the same time!?"

Matt nodded. I remained silent for a few minutes while Roxy, Matt and Carl looked at me anxiously. Slowly, an evil smile crept along my face.
"Bring. It. On."
