All she remembered. From the shrill scream she let out
A voice
Cold metal
And then paper?
It had writing on it. In red ink.
But was it ink?
It said:
Here it is. The next victim.
A victim of a girl.
And a metal blade to her neck.
A desirable motive.
But not enough.
Not enough to do it.
She would be like this for life.
What if she had done it?
WHAT IF SHE HAD KILLED HER?
