Heaven Unto The Rain

This is one of my many poems about fantasy and enchantment. Heaven is such a beautiful place and I love thunderstorms. Rain is also great weather to sleep to.
The stars sparkle through the night.
Just as the sun shines through the day.
As I stand a witness to this amazing sight.
My aura is penetrated by this beautiful ray.

The warm, crisp air leaving me
unraveled in the damp cold.
Feeling imprisoned in the still night.
Now knowing the unavoidable misfortune
that has been foretold.
Running away in the midst of fright.

Hearing the first soft, subtle drops.
Hitting the window pane.
Looking up into the dark skies props.
Welcoming Heaven Unto The Rain.

Seeing the waterfall stream
through the cascade.
Flowing closer down the lane.
And the watermarks grow to fade.
From Heaven Unto The Rain.
