Heaven and Hell - Prologue

Prologue - The treason of Lucifer's son and the acceptance God has shown him as triggered a war like no other. Will Lucifer's son find out why God has an interest in him? PS: I need a name for Lucifer's kid lol any suggestions would be helpful.
Blood and fear. That is all a demon remembers when it goes on a rampage, nothing is considered sacred.
"Do you see what you have done?" ordered a booming voice, "Bow your head in repentance."
The gleam of a sword shining in the darkness.
The white wings of the one holding it were spread wide. She seemed as though she were a bird of prey.
"All of this blood shed was caused by you," explained the Angel of Truth, "You slaughtered men, women...and children, children? Children, the most sacred of beings, I cannot understand your kind. Is the blood lust really that unbearable?"
"Amitiel, I didn't commit these crimes," I pleaded. As I spoke, I noticed my blood stained hands and my fangs elongated.

"I cannot show you sympathy," she sighed as her tears flowed down her cheeks.
"Hold your sword, Amitiel!" shouted my father. Lucifer walked onto the scene without a care in the world.
"I must carry out the will of my lord," she snapped, "Leave this place!"
She was afraid. Amitiel could handle a hundred demons but Lucifer is on another level.
"Please, Amitiel, understand the situation you are in," he smiled devilishly, "I can destroy your kind just as easily as he can destroy mine..."
"You still cannot say his name Lucifer," laughed Amitiel, "The truth is you fear him as you did those many years ago...fear is one of the many truths beings such as ourselves try to forget. Your fears have yet-"
"I ordered silence," snapped the devil. He had already grabbed her by the neck and began choking her.

"This...is it..." she choked, "The very...reason...you...can't return."
"My dear young girl," he laughed, "I gave up returning, oh so many millennia's ago. I just enjoy bringing hell to the Earth."
"Let her go!" I screamed, "Release her bastard!"
Both of them were surprised.
"I said release her!" I shouted grabbing his arm and crushing it.
"Oh that was not a wise choice," he sighed, "I came to help you and this is how I am repaid?"
"You fool," sighed Amitiel as she fainted.
It was foolish, I thought, it was foolish to assist an angel. It meant betraying the rule of Hell and Lucifer.
"My love leave him be," sighed my mother.

"Lilith, you must cease interrupting my lectures when dealing with our son," sighed father.
I took that time to use my demon speed and escape with Amitiel in my arms. I ran as fast as I could in hopes that he would not follow me. The air was fresh, the smell of death and decay had cleared and that's when I realized we were safe, for the time being.
"I know you're carrying me, now release me demon," spat Amitiel.
"Your hurt so I'm-" my words were cut short as she grabbed my throat.
"How dare you touch me with such filth on your hands," she screamed, "The blood of the innocent lies on your hands? I'd rather die at the hands of your twisted father than be held by you!"
"I...just...want...to...help," I choked.

"I'd kill you right now if I had the strength," she breathed. She loosened her grip around my neck and backed away from me.
"Go ahead," I sighed. I pointed at my heart, indicating where I wished her to pierce it. The images of the villager's dead bodies flashed in my head. The image of the little boy I held in my arms as he bled to death.
"I'd rather die than live with these memories!" I shouted and got on my knees, "Kill me, I deserve it, maybe, maybe He can give me some peace."
"The Lord does not allow the likes of your kind solace nor guidance," she raged, "Death to all demons; death to hell spawns such as you."
"A child does not choose the family it's born into," I chuckled sadly, "Can I ask one thing, though?"

"I suppose you can," she answered with cold eyes.
"Will it hurt?" I asked with a smile, "I mean, it's said the blade of an angel is that of God's wrath...will he really be that furious with me?"
"You are a demon, the chances of no pain at all are very slim," she replied.
"Oh good, I curse the very blood that runs through these veins," I murmured softly, "The blood that runs through this cold body..."
"May the Lord have mercy on your soul," prayed Amitiel. As she took her stance I closed my eyes and attempted to pray. Prayer was something forbidden in hell so I tried my best.
Lord, if you exist, please save the souls of the ones killed this horrible night, I finished.
That's when I felt the pain and fear leave my body. I felt tranquility and happiness.
"Amitiel, still your sword," ordered a voice, "I need a moment with this young man."
I opened my eyes to see the newcomer's face. It was unbearable; I could only catch a glimpse of the person. He was dressed in white garments. Everything else was shrouded in a dazzling white light.

"Father, may I ask why you are here?" spoke Amitiel shyly.
"This demon was born with a soul," he replied simply, "What a strange creature...young man do you realize that what you have done is the greatest sin of all?"
"Yes," I replied faintly.
"I doubt that," he laughed brightly, "I am prepared to pass judgment."
"My Lord?" asked Amitiel in confusion.
"You may enter the gates of heaven," he smiled, "However, there are conditions."
"Conditions?" I asked. My throat was dry and my hands were shaking.
"You must live in the world of my children," he continued, "I ask that you behave and learn one thing about yourself. Can you complete this task?"
"Yeah, but-"

"Excuse me, big guy?" my father had found us, "He belongs to me."
"Lucifer, I believe I've made my decision," smiled God, "If you would please allow your son to speak his mind."
"By all means finish," smiled father, "But remember this, I have dominion over my servants."
Servants? I thought, "Father, when did I become your servant?"
"Silence," he threatened, "The moment you were born you were bred only for war. You are worth nothing else."
"No!" I shouted, "I don't want this life! Forever living in darkness, living off the souls of the damned! That is no life!"

"I ordered silence!" boomed my father's voice, "You dare defy me? Your very own father?"
"A son does not choose his father!" I spat back, "Countless days have passed and not one has passed that I haven't wished I were dead!"
"Ungrateful!" my father's body began to shake as his black wings sprouted from his back. His smile was twisted as though he had been awaiting the day I would defy him. The blade he had in his hand was black and fire swirled around it.
"Prepare yourself!" he roared. Thousands of demons flocked to his side. The moment Satan had released his power they began to creep from the depths of hell.
"I do not want a war Lucifer," intervened God. His ranks filed in just as quickly as my father's.

"The minute my son was taken from my side your fate was decided," sneered father.
I looked at all the familiar faces among my father's army and saw the fear in their eyes. My mother was by my father's side crying tears of blood. They were fake tears as she stood there crying I could see past the tears and into her mind where she saw God's head on a platter.
Thousands of angels now stood by their lord and neither was afraid.
"Father," grunted an angel with golden army covering his entire body, "Take this time to leave, we shall handle these demons."
"Gabriel now is not the time to let your blood lust carry you away," scolded Amitiel, "We must avoid this fight!"
At the mention of his name my cold heart dropped. An archangel had come to protect his father. Gabriel was the General of God's army at the time; my father had no chance of success.
"Silence, this has nothing to do with lesser beings," he snapped, "How dare you interrupt my counsel?"

"Gabriel, remember your place," reminded God, "All are equal...summon Uriel and Michael. Also to be certain summon Raphael."
"Yes Father," bowed Gabriel.
In a flash of light the ones summoned appeared.
"Father," they bowed simultaneously.
"It seems we may have a war on our hands," announced God, "Uriel, Michael, I'd like for both of you to take soldiers and surround the area. We mustn't let any of the humans walk in on this, understood?"
"Yes father," and with that they rushed to do as they were told.
"Raphael, I'd like for you to heal this young man's soul-"
"My lord, this man is a demon-"
"I understand that perfectly well," interrupted God, "However that is my wish...I also would like for you to take a handful of soldiers and create a care center for the wounded. Understood?"

"Upon your request I shall not fail," he bowed deeply and walked over to me.
"Please follow me," he smiled.
"Wait, Amitiel first," I said.
His eyes flashed with anger.
"Those who disobey-" he began.
"Do as the boy says Raphael," instructed God, "He will atone for his sins as will Amitiel."
"As you wish," he bowed deeper and picked up Amitiel.
"You really have made a mess of things?" he laughed silently.
Amitiel smiled and fainted. I walked behind them in silence.
I had committed treason against hell, against my very own father, and I was alive.
God was still giving orders.

"Gabriel, you shall be in charge of the main force," he instructed, "I shall await your arrival at the care center. Remember, they were all once human souls, pray for their souls."
"Yes Father," bowed Gabriel.
"And Gabriel, Lucifer is to be left unharmed," he instructed.
"But father-"
"It is not your place to kill him," he continued, "He is to pay for his crimes against humanity. I shall see to it that he will not be destroyed, for he was once my beloved son."
"As you wish," sighed Gabriel, "Pray for our victory father."
"There is no need," laughed God sadly, "Evil was never meant to exist in this world, today we have the upper hand."
"Kill them all!" ordered my father. I turned to see the dawn of this bloody battle.
My father stood absolutely still with my mother at his side while all his minions, some of which were my friends rushed to their deaths.
