Heather Locklear & Richie Sambora's Divorce Official

Lawyers representing both Locklear, 45, and Sambora, 47, appeared before a judge on Wednesday to finalize the divorce and settlement. The couple was married for 11 years and have one child; a 9 year old daughter, Ava Elizabeth. Locklear announced their separation in December 2005 and filed for divorce in early February 2006. He filed papers a month later seeking joint custody of the couple’s daughter and to have the terms of their prenuptial agreement enforced.

A source said Wednesday, "This has been an unbelievably difficult year for Heather. It’s a huge relief for her that this part of her life has come to a close." The source went on to say that Locklear has been "spending time with Ava, her family and friends, and just keeping it low-key." Sambora began seeing Locklear’s ex-BFF, Denise Richards, in April 2006 and the two are still going strong.

Shortly after her split from Sambora, Locklear was rumored to be dating comedian David Spade. Neither one ever confirmed or denied that their relationship was romantic and always maintained that they were just friends. It is now being rumored that Locklear is dating her Melrose Place co-star Jack Wagner. The two were spotted recently looking pretty cozy and holding hands. A source close to the actress said, "They have been friend since Melrose Place. There’s definitely no change in their relationship. They [just] went out with a bunch of her friends." Wagner split from his wife, Kristina, in 2006. Maybe Locklear and Wagner should explore their options…they definitely have chemistry…
