Heather Locklear 911 Call Released

A man claiming to be Heather Locklear’s psychiatrist called paramedics twice on Saturday saying he feared the actress was suicidal. The man first called to ask that someone be dispatched to Locklear’s home to check on her well-being. The second call was placed 15 minutes later asking that someone call him back to let him "know the status afterward." He added, "That way I’ll know if someone has gone there and she’s okay." It has been reported that before calling the paramedics, the man claimed to have spoken to Locklear and said she was upset and he was afraid she would overdose on her prescription medication.

Paramedics rushed to Locklear’s home in Thousand Oaks, California to make sure the actress was not in any danger. Reportedly, the paramedics stayed at the actress’ home for 10 minutes and determined that she was ok and not in any danger. It has been reported that Locklear’s new beau, Jack Wagner, was also at her home at that time. A spokesman for the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department said, "Once on the scene, our deputies took no further action because no one at the residence was in distress or needed medical or mental health assistance." The spokesman added, "We don’t believe the caller was lying or fabricating the information provided at the time."

Locklear’s rep released a statement Monday that said, "[I] spoke with Heather and she is fine. She never requested medical assistance and did not place a 911 call. Nor did anyone from her house call 911 or place a call requesting medical assistance." Locklear, 46, and Wagner, 48, have remained friends since starring together on the hit nighttime soap Melrose Place<./i>. Since the show went off the air in 1999, the two have reportedly remained close and they began dating last spring when both of them became single and available. Wagner has two sons with ex-wife Kristina Malandro Wagner and Locklear has a daughter with ex-husband Richie Sambora.
