Heartbroken Sonnet

Another one of my traditional Shakespeare formatted sonnet about the pain of her leaving my heart in the cold...
A smile on my face starts to extend,
but tears blur my vision; my eyes so sore
because I know we will always be friends,
but thats all it can be and nothing more.

I know I can never feel the bliss
of touching your lips or holding your hand.
All hope is lost when wishing for your kiss
for the seed of love can't grow in this land.

I must go on and try to be happy
without ever being in love with you,
because it seems as if you'll never see
that I mean it; my love for you is true.

Though it is far I wish to be with you,
but it seems that you'll never love me too...
