Hi guys. Here is Chapter -7. Enjoy and Please comment I love to read your comments.
*Marriage Reception*
It was 24th April - The Big Day.
Dressed in lovely Rose Red colors Bridal dress, which complimented on her fair complexion just perfect, Minal sat facing her dressing table, surrounded by the make –up girls and hairdressers.
As the make-up girl approached her with some cosmetics in her hand, Minal hesitated.
"Please, no heavy make-up." Said Minal, before the girl pasted everything on her face.
"No, mam. You are pretty enough for heavy make-up. I will put a medium one but the lip-stick will be a little darker so that it remains until the reception is over." Explained the girl, smiling.
Minal and Raj were married earlier that day. Even though both were there, side by side as the vows for marriage took place, Minal was damn scared and too shy to lift her head and see the person next to her with whom she was getting married. Where as Raj kept drifting his gaze on Minal every now and then.
Now facing her reflection in the mirror she thought to herself, "Courage Milan Courage. You have got to do it. You missed the opportunity earlier this morning.....but you cant afford it again. If you keep being so timid, you will see him after ten years of your marriage. Stop being silly, you are already married to him, he is your husband now. So buckle up."
After two hours of stressful pulling and curling, Minal was ready.
"Are you fini…." Mrs. Seth peeked in Minal’s room to see if she was ready. She stopped mid-sentence and starred in delight at her daughter. She looked extremely beautiful in her rose red dress with soft red colored lipstick which was a little light in shade as compared to her dress. Shinning matching bangles, hand purse and sandals. She looked gorgeous and cute at the same time. No make-up in the world could over do her natural beauty.
"God bless you with all the happiness in the world." Said Mrs. Seth hugging her daughter, trying hard not to cry.
With everything and everyone ready, The Seth Family drove to the reception hall. All the time in the car, Minal had butterflies dancing in her stomach. Finally they reached their destination. Carefully Minal came out of the car with her mother on her side.
The Verma family was already present and so was Raj.
"Raj, they are here. You better take your position on the stage." Instructed his mom.
The main hall door opened and entered Minal with her family and cousins around her. She was walking slowly towards the stage. Mrs.Verma approached them, "Isn’t my daughter-in-law beautiful, come my child." She complimented Minal and took her by her arms and walked her towards the stage.
Raj was waiting for Minal, with his cousins beside him on the stage. At first Raj couldn’t see her face as she was looking down, but as she neared, he was speechless. Dazzled by her beauty, Raj’s jaw dropped and he kept starring at her without blinking.
"Close your mouth." Nudged his cousin.
Realizing the surrounding he quickly closed his mouth but couldn’t stop starring at her.
"She is my wife!! This beautiful woman is MY wife! WOW!! No wonder I am falling for her." As Raj though this, a huge grin came on his face.

The hall was packed jammed with relatives, guest, friends, friends of friend’s. Some on stage congratulating and taking photos with the Married couple while some seated on their chair chatting away. All this time Minal tried to look at her husband, since she had seen him in his photo. The urge to see him actually in flesh and blood was killing her inside every second. Unfortunately every time she tried to see him, some one or the other came up to her, congratulating and hugging her etc and she fidgeted more and more every time this happened.
After 3 hours of continuously being hugged and all that the stage was finally empty as most of the guest had settled down for dinner. Finally, the Newly Married Couple sat down on their specified chairs on the stage.
Seeing her opportunity Minal looked at the guest and found that most of them were busy eating or talking.
"This is it. You cant back away now. DO IT." Minal ordered herself.
Aware of the situation around her she knew she couldn’t keep starring at him in front of all these guest.
"I just want a glimpse of him and then I will turn back." She thought. "Here goes, 1..2..3."
Gathering all her courage she slowly turned her face towards him, but instead of taking a glimpse she kept staring at the side pose of his face, since he was talking to his cousin, his face was turned side ways. Minal didn’t get a clear view of his face but what ever she saw she was SHOCKED to see the person standing next to her, who was already her husband.
‘Flash’ went a camera and Minal snapped out of her shock and quickly took her original position, starring at the floor.
"Who the hell is ‘HE’." She thought frightened. "He is not the one from the photo. Was there some mistake? Did they showed me the wrong photo? Is he Raj’s brother? No, they said Raj only had a sister. Was there any change at the last moment? No, no. How can that be? Mom would have told me everything." Minal was struggling in her thoughts when someone came and hugged her, congratulated her. ‘Flash’ went the camera, but Minal was too busy in her thoughts to pose for the camera. Panic driven she started searching for her Mom.
"Who is HE? Who the hell is this person next to me with a MUSTACHE?"
