Heart of an Assassin

There is only so much a person can take until it is too much to handle and they go off the deep end.
Never the one to hold grudges
But willing to prove my point
Going against my will
Thinking of the worst
I can't fight how I feel.

From the pain and sorrow they brought
They deserve to be punished
My heart screams go for it
My body won't move
I know it's not right

Too late to turn back now
Finger on the trigger
My target in its place
all that is left is...
To aim and shoot

I take a second to think
I've realized I'm insane
My heart is cold, -10 degrees
My eyes are dark, the blackest coal
"Boom" a loud fire shoots out

My target demolished
My mission completed
My life less complicated
My heart remains cold
I am the assassin
