Healthy Weight Range
Most people are worried about whether they are overweight or what should be the ideal weight. Well, here are the healthy weight ranges for men and women.

Body Mass Index
This calculation of a healthy weight range is done on the basis of the body-mass index (BMI) calculation. The BMI calculation helps determine the healthy weight ranges based upon the height-to-weight comparison. BMI is calculated by the formula:
[Weight in pounds/ (height in inches2)] * 703
Ideally, a BMI between 18.5 to 25 is considered healthy. So based on this assumption, the following table is provided. The table gives the height and the commensurate weight that is considered healthy for a person of that height.
| Height (Feet) | Weight (Pounds) |
| 5' | 97 - 128 |
| 5'1" | 100 - 132 |
| 5'2" | 104 - 136 |
| 5'3" | 107 - 141 |
| 5'4" | 110 - 145 |
| 5'5" | 114 - 150 |
| 5'6" | 118 - 150 |
| 5'7" | 121 - 159 |
| 5'8" | 125 - 164 |
| 5'9" | 128 - 169 |
| 5'10" | 132 - 174 |
| 5'11" | 136 - 179 |
| 6' | 140 - 184 |
| 6'1" | 152 - 189 |
| 6'2" | 156 - 195 |
| 6'3" | 160 - 200 |
| 6'4" | 164 - 205 |
| 6'5" | 169 - 211 |
| 6'6" | 173 - 216 |
So these were the healthy weight ranges based on the person's height as given by the BMI calculation. Now you will be able to tell if your weight is ideal for your height. Mind you, having a healthy weight range alone does not signify overall health and wellness. It is only one parameter of judging if you are healthy or not.
