The car starts we all hop in
Smiles on our faces, joy within

Sun is shining with a hint of cloud
Going on vacation and I feel proud

We made several stop and pictures we took
Looking towards the camera with arms hooked

Last stop we made, we say the clouds role in
She bought a book and a couple of pens

It started to rain but we still drove
I gave her a heart with letters I wrote

Rain came down harder now I start to get scared
People in a hurry horns being blared

She looked back at me to say it was alright
Next thing I know we are upside down, nothing right

Iunbuckle my belt for my head to hit the ground
I search and search she's nowhere around

Finally I look she's 20 feet away
My heart dropped, my eyes full of pain

I run to her as fast as I could
I hold her hand like i know i should

Her breathing is heavy, the cuts run deep
She tells me she loves me, than she falls asleep

I cry and I cry is this my fault
She looked at me before we came to a hault

I touch my head to only see blood
Can't feel my face, I know this isn't good

An hour later I sit in the e.r.
I say nurse is it time to see her

She said sweety sit down and put our gown on
She's passed away, shes not here, shes gone

Last I remember is flowers and a grave
It feels like a dream, this can't end this way

I reach into my pocket and pull a letter out
The one I wrote, the one she left without

I lay it on top of her as they lower it down
Tear drops down my face, I can't hear a sound

I'll walk away with a thought she left me
This is my fault, I'm sorry mommy
