  • Ice Pack: This is one of the best remedies for a headache during pregnancy. If you have a throbbing pain, put an ice pack on the back of your neck and your temples for about five minutes and lie down. A cold towel can also do, if ice is not available.
  • Massage: Massage the back of your neck with any essential oil. Eucalyptus, peppermint and lavender oils are said to be the best for headache relief. Also ask someone to massage your back and the base of the skull, gently.
  • Lemon: Simply cut a lemon in half and rub it on your temples, this will help to get rid of the throbbing. This is one of the quickest headache remedies!
  • Iced Coffee: This is one of the tasty headache home remedies. Drink a cup of iced coffee and see your headache disappear. The reason why iced coffee works is that ice and caffeine are vasoconstrictors which will help the throbbing blood vessels to shrink down.
