Hazard or Creator?

Debates between evolutionists and creationists continue. Each side brings proof more or less convincing. However, it seems that it takes more faith to believe the evolution theory than to believe in the existence of The Creator.
Hazard or Creator?
We and our opinions are biased by the medium in which we live in, in which we develop as human beings. The public opinion with the pressure involved is another factor that adds another pair of glasses to our existing view and thus, it can influence our thinking.

Yet when it comes to debating questions like "is it hazard or is it a Creator?" John Mackay, geologist, international speaker and the Australian Director of Creation Research John Mackay was for many years a science teacher in both state and private secondary education systems in Queensland, Australia. He also lectured in Geology at Tertiary level for Technical Education and was instrumental in establishing Creation Research in Australia, and is currently the International Director of Creation Research. His many years in teaching have enabled him to communicate well to all ages. He has been lecturing on the subject of origins and doing field research worldwide for the last 30 years.

John Mackay has a long list of debates against leading evolutionists such as Dr. David Penny, Dr. Trevor Emmet, Dr. Eugenie Scott, head of the National Center for Science in the USA and the list continues.
John Mackay himself was an atheist, was not raised up in a Christian environment, therefore he could carefully weigh the idea of creationism, without it having been imposed to him in the first place.

"Scientific theories are constantly changing, especially when they seek to explain processes which cannot be directly observed. No scientist, creationist or evolutionist, was there to observe the first living cells come into existence. Even for processes which are occurring today new information is constantly being gathered and theories are being modified or substituted by new theories. Scientific theories provide a useful framework to work within. The history of science is littered with many theories that have been widely believed then later scrapped. Scientific theories should never become the basis of a belief system or commitment." John Mackay

In one of the TV broadcasts in Romania (for Omega TV) John Mackay points out a truth trough a simple question:" If you were to demonstrate creationism as being truth, what would be your evidence?"
When an evolutionist is asked this question he/she realizes that they have not really answered for themselves this question or if they did, they kept the glasses of evolutionism on. Of course, they accuse the creationists of the same fault as keeping the glasses of creationism on when examining the evidence of the evolution theory.

I am not going further with this, but it is a logical fact: science discovers more and more, and if we once believed the earth was flat, we don’t believe that any more so how do we know that the evolutionist’s theory is the final truth? (just as a note, the Bible clearly mentions the earth is round and also the fact that the earth is sustained "by nothing" -the idea of suspension- in the book of Job, before science came to the same conclusion; there are many other scientific facts in the Bible, that have only later been discovered as being accurately described in God’s book.)

The example with the watch

If you find a watch on the street, would you believe it that no one made that watch? Ridiculous, isn’t it! Of course, a watch needs to have a watch maker. You don’t have to be a creationist to believe that. However, the evolution says that in millions and millions of years, the conditions would have been just perfect for that watch to come into being without any outside intervention.

Now, there is another problem, because we suppose that there was the carbon, oxygen and nitrogen atoms that made this process possible (who put those atoms in time and space and how did come to be, it is another difficult story for evolutionists.) However, just for the sake of argument, if we suppose there were these element present and they simply evolved into all the components of the watch, coming together and all of a sudden, perfectly functioning, where does the intelligence behind all that come from?

Or in other words, if we can’t create life (even if we have the particles today) who gives the life? We can have all the clay in the world and make statues better than Michelangelo, but we cannot bring them to life.

Examining both sides, the conclusion is that it does take more faith to believe the evolutionist theory than to believe the existence of a Creator. Or to put it in other words, it is absolutely logical to believe someone has constructed that watch, or that TV set of that computer and they did not just came up on your desk .

However, open your eyes and test the evidence on both sides, weigh carefully and don’t buy it just to go with the flow. The price for ignorance is very high! Prove God wrong before you embrace another theory, because one day we will all face our Creator and then, we will not exactly enjoy to see Whom we indirectly have called "a liar".

Think, test the evidence and only afterwards come to a conclusion! Don't treat it lightly because you are talking about your eternal destiny!
