Haven
Kind of dramatic but I think its good. They told me so.
The sun smiled down on me,
It lights up my day.
A cool breeze played with my hair,
It tingled up my skin.
Sitting under a willow tree,
I let the wind brush my cheeks,
With my eyes looking up in the sky,
I sighed and close it.
I wonder how this could be so peaceful,
When the world outside this heavenly place,
Seems to be waiting to be burned by,
Blood and fire.
I opened my eyes and sniffed the air,
Hoping that this day could never end.
I stood up and walked away,
Leaving my peaceful haven again.
It lights up my day.
A cool breeze played with my hair,
It tingled up my skin.
Sitting under a willow tree,
I let the wind brush my cheeks,
With my eyes looking up in the sky,
I sighed and close it.
I wonder how this could be so peaceful,
When the world outside this heavenly place,
Seems to be waiting to be burned by,
Blood and fire.
I opened my eyes and sniffed the air,
Hoping that this day could never end.
I stood up and walked away,
Leaving my peaceful haven again.
