[Chapter 19]

---- Naling's POV ----

My head hurt so much when I suddenly woke up. At first everything was blaring and I also hear someone calling my name too. When I finally started to focus, my vision become clear and I suddenly knew who's calling my name. I look up and Leena was standing right in front of me. I take a look around and see two girls standing in back of me and a guy standing between them.

"You finally woke up," said Leena.

"What do you want from me, Leena?" I asked her angrily.

She chuckled. "Remember what I said to you. That I'll never let you have Vee and that you'll never win me."

"Leena, you're taking this too far." I started to struggle to make the rope loosen.

"Then why didn't you let me have Vee instead if I'm taking this too far."

"Because he doesn't love you anymore. He loves me."

"What a pity." She takes out a lighter and touched the wall. "Do you know what will happen if the fire touched the wall?" She turns to look at me with those evil eyes of her. "The fire will spread quickly around this room and the house and everything will be burn...including you too."

"I don't care. I know that Vee is coming to save me." Then we heard a crash in another room. I happily smile. "And here he is."

Leena angrily walk out of the room and came back in. "Yoji, make sure he's out of this house."
Yoji smile at her and walk out of the room leaving the four of us.

"No matter what you do, Leena. He'll save me. I know," I happily said to her.

She smiles evilly at me. "Fine then." She opens the lighter and walks closely by the wall. "Then let's see who he's going to save first. You...or me."

I shake my head. "Don't do it, Leena or else you'll kill us all. Do you want Vee to die also?"

"If I can't have him...then you can't have him either. If he saves you...then I'll die in this house. But if he saves me...then you have to die in this house." She throws the lighter at the wall and flame started to burst around the room, even the floor too. I started to yell and scream for help but I was tie onto the chair. "Scream all you want," Leena continue to say. "Nobody can't hear you." She slowly walks out the door, leaving me there alone in that room.

'Great...I'm going to die' I said to myself. I kept on struggling so the rope will come loose and it did. The moment I almost got my hand free, the house started to fall apart. A piece of wood fall right in front of me but luckily, I tip myself backward just in time I got my hand free. I quickly got up and was about to walk through the same door that Leena went, but some burning wood were blocking it. I started to look around the room and saw another door so I quickly went out of that door instead.

---- Vee's POV ----

I shouldn't have thrown the guy through the window. Right now they know we're here. I jump through the window and enter the house. The guy was still lying on the ground so I take off his mask. By my surprise, it was Fred, one of Yoji's friends.

"Will, will, will, isn't it Vee? Long time no see." I turn around and Yoji was standing there.

"Yoji, you better tell me where Naling is or else I'll kill you," I angrily said to him.

"Aww, don't worry. Leena taking good care of her for you," he said with a smile. We started to circle around the room, getting ready to fight. "Isn't this familiar to you, Vee? The day when Leena choose me over you."

"Shut up Yoji! That's the past already."

"Aww, but aren't you afraid that this one will hurt you like before. She'll leave you behind just like Leena did."

"That's because I was blind and didn't really know if Leena love me or not. But I know Naling will not do that. No matter what, she'll never leave me behind like Leena did to me."

"Well...let's see if your 'precious' Naling will do the same thing as Leena." Yoji jump at me and slam me on the wall. I grabbed onto his shoulder, trying to flip him over but instead the both of us flip over and out the window we go. He was on top of me the moment we got out of the house. He hit my face a couple of time but I manage to push him over and hit him couple of time on his face. I quickly got up, making some spaces between us. Then suddenly the house started to burn. I turn to look inside the house and the flame was spreading faster and faster.

"Naling!" I yelled her name. I was about to enter the house but Yoji grabbed onto my shoulder and pulled me out of the house again. I swing my hand, knocking him down onto the ground.

Yoji started to chuckle. "You're risking your life again to save the woman you love. You're so pathetic."

I grabbed onto Yoji's shirt and said, "The one that's pathetic is you!" I hit him right on the cheek as blood started to come out more.

"You bastard!" yelled Yoji. He quickly got up about to hit me but I swing my leg, kicking him right on the face. Yoji try to get up but he suddenly collapsed onto the ground again. I turn to look at the house again and run inside. The house was already falling apart so I better find Naling fast. I started to call Naling name a couple of times but no respond. Then suddenly someone grabbed me by the neck and pulled me out of the house again. I couldn't breathe so I decided to hit the person on the knee since my leg is free from the struggling. I quickly turn around to see who it is but the moment I turn around, Yoji almost stab me with his knife. Luckily I manage to have some strength to push him away from me before he even stabs me. Yoji pick up the knife again and started to swing it around. It sliced my right hand but I manage to grab it and kicked him right on the stomach. He bends down in front of me and I quickly hit him right on the face with my knee, knocking him out for sure now. I throw the knife onto the ground and started to run back into the house. I could felt blood coming out of my right hand so I take out my handkerchief and wrapped.

"Naling, where are you?" I yelled while I move a couple of burning woods.

"Vee! Vee!" yelled someone, familiar. I started to head toward that direction and saw Leena lying on the ground. "Vee, help me!"

I wasn't sure if I should help her or not because the house is going to collapse any minute. I was about to walk over to her when suddenly I hear Naling called my name.

"Vee! Vee, where are you?" she yelled.

I walk out of the room, leaving Leena there and started to search for Naling instead. "Naling, I'm here! Where are you?"

"Vee! I'm in here! I can't get out!" she yelled.

"Stay where you are. I'm coming," I yelled back at her. I started to search each room and finally I manage to see Naling, trap between burning woods. A couple of small burning woods fall right on her but she manages to get out of the way.

"Vee!" she yelled happily.

"Naling!" I too, yelled happily to see her that she's not hurt. "Stay where you are, alright."
She nodded her head. I look around the room to see if there's anything that I could use. Then my eye caught on the curtain. I ripped the curtain from the window and wrapped myself with it. I counted to three and started to charge through the burning woods and also moving some of them too.

"Vee," said Naling the moment I got to her. "Are you alright?"

I remove the curtain and nodded my head. "I'm alright."

"That's good to hear," she said with a smile.

I wrapped her around with the curtain. "Okay, when I counted to three, you run through the fire, alright."

She grabbed my hand. "What about you?"

"Don't worry about me. You go on first."

She started to shake her. "No, I won't go without you Vee."

I sigh. "You got to go, Naling. The house going to collapse any minute."

"I know that, that's why I won't go without you."

"Alright." I take off my coat and wrap around myself. "Okay, on a count of three."
She nodded her head, still holding onto me. I counted to three and the both of us started to run out of the house. Before we got close to the exit, someone started to yell for help. Naling stop running and turn to look at the direction where the voice was coming from.

"What is it, Naling?" I asked her.

"Leena, we got to help her too," she answers me.

"There's no time, Naling. The house is about to collapse any minute here."

She shakes her head. "But we got to help her. Although she was trying to kill me, but I don't want to leave her here and die here."

"Come on, Naling. Let's go."

She didn't even listen to a single word I say to her. She takes off the curtain cloth and started to run toward the direction. I didn't have a choice but run after her too.

---- Naling's POV ----

I know what Leena did was a bad thing but I don't want her to die. I'm not that cruel to let someone die. So I decided to save her instead if Vee doesn't want to save her.

"Leena!" I called her name.

"Help me!" she yelled. "Come back and help me! Sandy! Pim! Come back and help me!"
"Leena!" I called her name again. I manage to see her through the burning fire. I grabbed her hand and she turn to look at me pulling her hand away from me.

"Get away from me, Naling! I don't want you to help me!" she angrily snaps at me.

"I know you don't want me to help you but we got to get out of this burning house before it collapses," I said to her. I grabbed her hand again and she manages to pull her hand out of my grip. She was about to run away from me but luckily, Vee grabbed onto her hand.

"Let's get out of here," said Vee.

I nodded my head.

"Let go of me!" yelled Leena.

"Just shut up!" Vee and I yelled at her the same time. She didn't know what to say so she shut her mouth instead. Vee takes off his coat and throws on the ground. "Okay, let's all just run out of here." I nodded my head, holding onto Leena so she won't collapse. When Vee counted to three, the three of us run out of the house.

"Naling!" Kenji called my name the moment I got out. He wrapped his arm around me. "I'm so glad that you're alright."

"Kenji, you're chocking me," I weakly said to him.

He let go of me. "Sorry."

"Naling!" Lela called my name as she wrapped her arm around me also. "Are you alright?"

"I'm alright," I answer her.

She let go of me and the both of us turn to look at Vee and Leena. Leena was sitting on the ground while Vee stands next to her. We slowly walk over to them.

"You shouldn't have done that, Leena," said Vee. "That's childish of you to be playing with fire. Do you know that you could have killed yourself also instead of the person you're trying to kill?"

"Yeah," said Lela. "You should have died in that house the one you burn. You deserve to die."

"No, Lela," I quickly said to her. "Nobody here doesn't deserve to die."

"That's right," said Xai. "Nobody here doesn't deserve to die. Even yourself."

"But I still think she deserve to die. She done horrible stuff to Naling already," said Lela.
"But think about it, Lela. I didn't get hurt...nobody here didn't even get hurt," I said back to her. I turn to look at Vee. He was holding onto his handkerchief which blood was dripping. I slowly walk up to him. "Are you alright, Vee?"

He nodded his head. "I'm alright."

I gently touched his face and grabbed onto his hand. "What do you mean, you're alright? You're bleeding."

"It's just a little cut."

I take the handkerchief off to take a look and wrapped it again. Then the cops finally arrive. They arrested Yoji and his friend upset Leena and her friends. We didn't want the three of them to end up in jail so we lied to the cops. Once when everything was clear, we all headed back to the wedding including Leena and her friends. Vee and I went into a room to wrap his wound.

"Now it's perfectly wrapped and taken care of," I said to Vee, taking off the last bandage.

Vee shakes his head. "There's something missing."

I sat down on the table and lend toward him. "And what's that?"

He grabbed my waist, pulling me to the edge of the table where he sitting. "You."

I sweetly chucked as I kiss him. Then there was a knock on the door. Vee and I turn to look who is it and it was Leena. She been standing there and we didn't even notice.

"Sorry to interrupt the both of your sweet victory but I got something to say to Naling," said Leena.

I got up from the table, slowly walk up to her. "Let's go talk outside."

Leena gently pushed me back. "Don't you want Vee to hear what I'm about to say to you. I know he does want to hear it too."

I turn to look straight at her. Vee got up from his seat and said, "What is it Leena?"

She smile and said, "I wish the both of you a happy life."

"What?" I asked her confuse.

"You win, Naling and you're also right too. Vee's heart is not with me anymore because he already has someone to give it to. And that's you, Naling. And I wish the both of you luck." Leena slowly walk out of the room, leaving Vee and I together again. Vee walk up to me with a smile on his face.

"Well...at least we won't have anyone to bother in our affair anymore," Vee said.

I look at my dress which it was cover a bit of Vee blood and his suit was also cover in blood too.

"Look at the both of us," I whined. "We're both cover with your blood."

He grabbed my waist again. "It's alright. At least people in this wedding will know that you belong to me."

I slap him on the forehead, smiling. "I need to go change and you too."

"That hurt," he whined still holding onto me.

I kissed him on the forehead. "Let's go." He smiles at me and the both of us headed out of the room.

[Chapter 20]

"ONE, TWO, THREE!" we all pretend to throw our cap up to the air. Vee grabbed me by the waist and started to spin me around. Xai did the same thing to Lela too.

"We did it!" yelled Xai the moment he set Lela down.

"Yes we did," I yelled after Xai when Vee stops spinning me.

"So...what's next?" Lela asked all of us.

"I'm going to France," said Celia.

"Me too," Hana said after Celia.

"Tomorrow?" we all asked the both of them.

They nodded their head.

"Only the both of you," whined Lela.

"No, were all going to France together!" yelled the both of them, happily.

"What? For real?" asked Xai.

Hana nodded her head. "I talk with my father and he said he's giving us a free ride on his airplane to France for our graduation."

Lela wrapped her hand around Hana. "Your father is so nice."

"I know," said Hana.

I shake my head. "I'm sorry you guy but maybe some other time."

"Why's that?" asked Celia.

"Well tomorrow I'm going to Singapore," I answer her.

"What about Vee?" asked Hana. "You're still going with us right?"

Vee shake his head. "My mother wanted some help during this summer with her design including my father so I'm going to be working."

"That suck," whined Hana. "I got everything planned and the both of you ruin it."
"It's alright Hana, you have us," said Xai.

"Umm...alright," said Hana. After our ceremony was over we headed to our house to celebrate.

"So...you're going to stay there with Kenji," said Vee.

I turn around to face him. "Yeah."

"All summer long," Vee said again.

"I'm not sure Vee," I answer him again. He gently touched my face and I slowly touched his hand also. "If I go...will you visit me?"

"I'm not sure either Naling. I'm going to be working during my summer."

I move his hand away from my cheek and slowly walk away from him. "It's alright Vee. I know you're going to be working."

Vee wrapped his hand around my waist. He kissed the back of my neck and said, "I'll miss you."
I touched his hand. "I'll miss you too."

It's been a month that I haven't see Vee or either of my friends. But a month seem like a year to me. Anyway I walk up the steps in the cemetery until I see my father grave. I bend down and cleaned the grave.

"Hi Pa," I said to him. "It's been a very long time that I haven't visited you and I'm sorry about that. I guess Kenji and his wife been visiting you since they lived in here. And about Ma...well let's say that she have a wonderful husband and a wonderful life. But she'll never forget about you Pa because the guys that she got marry to give her happiness like you use to give to Ma. And about me...I'm doing fine. Don't worry about me, Pa. And just to tell you that I'm engage to a guy by the name Vee Hsu. He's a very nice guy just like you Pa. A lot of things happened between us but we manage to make it up to this day." I look around me and suddenly I remember that I forgot about my flowers. I left them in the train. "Aww man! I left your flowers in the train. Wait here for me, alright Pa. I'll go buy you some new flowers." I quickly got up and by my surprise Vee was standing right in back of me with flowers. I look at the flower closely and they were the flowers that I left on the train. "Vee? Why are you here?"

He smiles at me as he slowly walks up to me. "You were looking for these flowers right." I nodded my head. He bends down on my father grave and set the flowers right in front of the gravestone. "Hi Mr. Nam, I'm Vee Hsu. Naling's fiancé. And I want to thanks you for making us meet each other. If it weren't for you, maybe Naling and I will never have the faith to be together like this."

I bend down next to Vee. "Thanks Pa for looking after me."

"And I promise you Mr. Nam that I'll love her like you love her. She'll never be alone anymore." Vee turns to look at me. "Will you marry me, Naling Nam?"

I slowly turn to face him and he was holding out a ring right in front of me and my father grave. I was so shock to answer him, yes, so I started to cry and nodded my head. He put the ring through my finger and pulled me close to him. Then suddenly I see Lela and Xai standing behind Vee. They were smiling at me including Hana and Celia.

"Naling said YES!" yelled Lela. She wrapped her hand around Xai. "Now the four of us will get marry together!"

"What?" I said letting go of Vee.

He nodded his head. "It was Lela idea, I mean about the wedding. But I was planning to ask you to marry me during your birthday."

"But you didn't," I said to him.

"I know but Lela wanted the four of us to marry the same day so she told me to wait until Xai asked her because she's not sure if he will or not."

"And it end up...he did," said Lela kissing Xai on the cheek.

Vee and I got up. "So...what's next?" I asked them.

"France?" said Hana.

I think for a while and nodded my head. "Okay since I don't have anything to do during my summer. What about you Vee?"

"Wherever you go...I go. As long as the both of us stick together." When Vee says that, it lightens my heart because I knew Vee and I will always be together. Vee bends down his head and kissed me and I kiss him back. About the others, they headed out of the cemetery leaving the both of us alone for a while.
