---- Vee's POV----

I got up still smiling about the kiss. Lela came up to me and asked, "What happened?"

"Oh nothing Lela. It's just that I got my victory kiss from Naling," I answer her.

She grins at me and walk off. I don't know why she smile but at least say something to me since I'm doing this just for her. I could also hear some girl saying that they wish they're Naling or that I should've kissed them. I didn't really care but walk off, heading to the restroom. I touched my arm feeling the pain but I didn't really care since I already have my victory kiss from her.

"See you tomorrow Vee," said Cloud heading toward his car.

"Yeah, see you tomorrow," I said back to him. I walked toward my car when Mrs. Song's car blocked my way. She rolls down her window, smiling at me. "Hi Vice Principal Song."

"Just call me Mrs. Song, Vee since school out already," she said.

"Alright Mrs. Song."

"That's more like it Vee."

"So...do you need to talk with me?"

She nodded her head. "Yes Vee. Umm...I have to go to a meeting and I want you to take Naling home for me, please."

I smile at her. "Sure thing, Mrs. Song since Naling and I going to engage very soon."

"Thanks Vee."

"You welcome."

She took off the parking lot and I stand there, happily that I'm going to send her home. I was thinking should I wait for her here or should I go look for her. So I end up looking for her and knew that she might be at her locker now. I turn around a corner and bumped into her.

"Ow! Watch where you're going!" she said angrily. She looks up and was surprise that it was just only me. She frowns and said, "Oh, it's just only you."

I smile at her. "Of course it's just only me. Were you wishing that it was Xai?"

She smiles at me, raising one of her eyebrow at me. And then she walks away from me without saying a word. I follow her but then these two geeking guy, Neng and Fong, grabbed my arm thanking me.

"Thanks Vee for helping us," said Neng.

"Yeah if it weren't for you, Cal will be still bullying us and stealing our money away from us," said Fong.

"Umm...okay you two geeks. Just get off me," I said trying to push them away. I look at Naling but she just smile at me.

"What a show?" she said still smiling but then her smile turn evil. "You guy could stop your guy acting already. I'm not going to believe it."

Neng and Fong turn to look at her, surprise.

"An act? What are you talking about, Naling?" asked Neng confuse on what Naling saying.

"We're not acting," said Fong, confuse too.

She cross her arm and continue saying, "Whatever, like I believe the two of you." She turns to look at me. "Vee, this got to be a joke huh? I'm not falling for it."

She turns away and quickly walks away from me. I turn to look at the both of them and didn't say anything. I quickly run after her, pulling her arm so she won't get away from me. "I'm not acting," I angrily said.

"You think that I believe you," she said.

"I don't even want you to believe in me. I just don't have anything to bet that's why I bet you instead to save those two geeks over there."

"Whatever Vee, you just wanted to kiss me that's why you're putting up a show. That's very nice."

"Why would I even want to put up a show for you to watch or believe in me?"

"Okay then. Tell me why you helped those two geeks then? I thought that you don't help out the lower class like me. Why did you help them?"

"I...I...I don't know why I help them."

"Okay you don't know why you help them?"

I think for a while trying to figure out why I helped those two geeks. I didn't even know the reason. When I saw that Cal was bullying those two, I decided to help because I felt sorry for them. So I decided not to answer her but said, "I don't really care and you don't need to know. All you need to know is that I'm going to be the one taking you home."

I grab her arm dragging her behind me. "I don't want you to take me home. I could walk with my own two legs."

"You're not walking just to tell you that."

"And why not?"

"Because your mother not going to be happy if she knew you walk home. Plus, she asked me to drive you home too so I'm doing her a favor."

"How would she know if I walk home? If you don't tell her and I don't tell her, she won't even know that I walk home."

"I'm not breaking my promise to your mother. And also..." I grabbed her waist and our face almost touches. "...I'm going to be your fiancé and you're going to be my fiancée. I'll be the one taking you everywhere and I could do anything to you since, we're going to be like husband and wife."

She struggle and said, "Vee let go of me now. Or else..."

"Or else what huh? Are you going to yell and scream for help? You already know what's going to happen if you do. Unless you wanted that's why you wanted to yell and scream for help."
"You're disgusting Vee. I hate you."

I squeeze her and calmly said, "Say again."

She was about to repeat it again but I saw a shadow behind her. I quickly cover her when they hit me with the bat. I bend down to the ground, still covering her.

"Vee! Get up!" she yelled at me.

I look into her eye, seeing that she was afraid. She gently touched my face and I manage to smile at her. "I won't die that easily," I said straight to her. I got up facing four guys with mask in front of me.

"Vee we don't want any trouble from you. We just want the girl," said the guy to the left. He pointed at Naling.

"What? Me?" she said the moment she got up. "Why would you want me? I have nothing to do with you guy."

"Of course you haven't but you got to go with us or else we'll take you by force."
She shakes her head at them. "I'm not going to go with you guy. Between you guy and Vee, I rather go with Vee."

I was surprise that she said that. I turn to look at her, giving her a smile but she didn't even smile back at me.

"Alright then. If it's going to be like that." They were about to touch Naling but I pulled one of them by the arm and twisted it.

"Whoever wanted to touch her, have to deal with me first," I said pushing the guy that I twisted.

"We don't want you Vee, get out of our way," said another different guy.

"Of course you guys don't want me. But if you guys want Naling, you got to go through me first then you'll get her. I already promise her mother that I'm going to take her home and I'll keep my promise. Whatever happens to her is going to be my fault. So, who dare challenge me?" They look at each other and suddenly attack me. I dodge their weapon and kicked some of them behind their back.

"Get your hand off me!" yelled Naling. She swings her bag hitting them. I quickly grabbed the one that were holding onto Naling. He was about to swing his bat but I grab a hold of it and flipped him over. He let go of the bat while I hold on to it.

"Who want their head to blow up?" I asked them angrily.

They all got scare and scatter away. I lower the bat and wipe my forehead with my hand.

"Are you alright?" Naling asked me. I turn to look at her, smiling.

"Of course I'm alright!" I said happily to her. I swing the bat and gently landed on my shoulder. "You're concern about me huh?"

She frowns at me. "Of course I'm concern about you Vee. If something happen to you, it's going to be my fault and I have to explain everything to your parent and my mother. And...they're not after you. They're after me."

I slowly walk up to her. "Do you know the reason?"

She shakes her head. "I don't know why. I mean...the day I started school here, the only enemy I have is you and Lela..."

I snort at her. "Are you thinking that Lela the one that set this up?"

She shakes her head at me. "Why would I think that?"

"Because the only enemy you have is me and Lela. Not anyone else but if you're blaming on Lela...you're blaming on the wrong person and just to tell you, I won't even do a thing like this too. I rather do myself. I guess you have enemy back at your hometown and they have followed you here to repay back what you did to them."

This time she snorts at me. "Back at my hometown everybody treated me nicely. They're not like you!" She angrily pushed me but she suddenly stop. She turns to look at me and said, "You're bleeding."

I touched my arm and laugh, "So what? It's just only a scratch it won't kill me." She quickly looks through her bag and pulled out some medicine. I move away from her and confusedly said, "What are you going to do?"

"I'm just going to put medicine on you," she answers me. I didn't say anything back to her but the both of us sat down while she put medicine on my arm. After that, I took her home. "Thanks Vee," she said the moment I pull up in front of the house.

"Yeah it's my job," I answer her.

She gives me an evil look and got out of the car.

A couple of day pass, I still have to send Naling's home. She didn't really argue with me anymore because she knew that I'll always win her by forcing her. It was Friday already and I send her home.

"Thanks again Vee," she said giving me an attitude.

"Like I said, it's my job," I answer her, smiling.

She rolls her eyes at me. Before she even take a step further my mother came out of the house waving at the both of us. She turns to look at me, giving me the evil look. "Why is your mother here?"

I got out of the car and shrug my shoulder at her. "I don't know but it might be important."

"I'm so glad the both of you end up coming home together," said my mother. She hugged Naling and patted my back. "C'mon, let's go inside."

The both of us follow my mother inside the house and into the guest room where Mrs. Song and Mr. Song were sitting including both of my parent.

"What's going on here?" she asked them the moment the both of us sat down.

"Oh, we're planning the engagement ceremony next weekend," said Mrs. Song. "And during that weekend is the start of winter break also."

My mother sat down next to Naling, opening a book. "Look in here and tell me how you would like your ceremony to look like. And the dress got to match it too."

She look at my mother and then at me. I give her a smile and said, "Ma, by the look of her face seem like she's not happy about the engagement because she's afraid..."

I could tell by the look of her face she was angry. They all stop what they were doing and turn to look at her.

"Afraid?" asked Mr. Song. "Why would you be afraid?"

"Yeah, tell me Naling. I'm your mother," said Mrs. Song, comforting Naling.

My mother wrapped her arm around Naling's shoulder and said, "Tell me Naling. Is it Vee? If you're afraid of Vee, I'll teach him a lesson that he'll never forget."

She shakes her head at them turning to look at me. "I'm not afraid of anyone, especially Vee."

"Oh okay if you're not afraid of me. Then let's get engage then," I said still smiling at her. I know she's going to deny it, acting like she's innocence. I could tell from her eyes but suddenly she smile at me.

"Sure thing, let's get engage then," she said right in front of my face. "I'm sorry but can I change out of my uniform. I'll be back."

They all nodded their head and she got up heading upstairs. I could still felt the slap that she just gives me. I just can't believe she said that to me. Does she think that she could win me by agreeing with the engagement along with me? If she is, I'm not going to kneel my head in front of her. She's going to be the one that's going to kneel her head in front of me. After a couple of second, I excuse myself and headed to the bathroom.

---- Naling's POV ----

If I'm going to win Vee, I got to do whatever I can to take him down. If he's trying to take me down, I might as will take him down along with me. Although I'm risking my life to engage with him, I'm going to show him that I'm not like those girls that he dated. When I got my T-shirt and jeans on, I went back downstairs. Before I even get close to the guest room, Vee grabbed my hand and pinned me onto the wall.

"You think that I'm just going to let you win me huh?" he asked me angrily.

"Win you?" I smirk at him. "What? Do you think that I'm going to let you walk all over me like this week?" I shake my head at him. "I'm just playing along with you, acting...like I'm listening to every of your commend. But it is all just an act."

He smiles at me. "Acting huh? Although your acting fools me...I'm not going to let you off that easily." He pressed his lip against mine and I pushed him away from me. I wiped my mouth while he grins at me. "I'm going to show you what I can do to you, right after we engage. There's no way I'm going to let you off easy like last time." He slowly walks toward me as I back up to the wall. He lends over and whisper to my ear. "You don't need to worry or be scare of me because I'm going to show you how hell is like when you're with me."

When he say that to me, it send chill down to my spine. My mother started calling my name and she saw the both of us standing together.

"That's good that the both of you are together. C'mon we don't have time to be planning anymore. Next week is going to be busy for the rest of us," said my mother.

Vee walks toward my mother, smiling. "Yes Mrs. Song, we'll be right there in a moment."
"Alright," said my mother. She walks off leaving the both of us together alone again.

He turns to look at me once more and said, "Remember that in your head, my sweetheart." He took off as I still stand there.

"I'm not afraid or scare of you Vee. I don't care if my life is going to be like a living hell when I'm with you. I'm going to break your little heart into small pieces until there's nothing left. Then you will notice between you and me, who's the winner and who's the sore loser," I angrily said. My mother started calling my name again and I slowly walk back into the guest room, trying my best to smile just to let Vee know that I'm not going to lose to him.

Today is Sunday and Mrs. Hsu, my mother, and Lela including me we were out getting fit for our dresses. Lela and I were in the same room fitting while my mother and Mrs. Hsu are in the other room.

"Are you happy about your engagement?" Lela asked me, smiling.

"Happy?" I question her. "Happy isn't the word that I'm looking for."

Lela laughed. "Naling, don't tell me that this engagement is just a joke between you and Vee. You do know that an engagement is very important to a woman."

"I know Lela but...I hate Vee and he think that I will back down on this engage so he'll win but I'm not going to let him win me."

"And that's why you agree to engage with him."

I nodded my head. "Yeah...oh you don't mind right?"

"Mind about what?"

"I asked Xai to be Vee's partner," I answer her.

"Oh," she said. "It's alright with me. It's not like I hate him like you hate Vee."

The both of us laugh.

"Well," said Lela when they're finish fitting her dress. She takes it off and they took it while I'm still wearing mine. "I heard about what happened to you."

"Did Vee tell you?" I asked her.

"Well, you could say that but why didn't you tell me?"

I sigh. "I was but you kept on going in and out of the house. That's why I decided not to tell you."

"You got to tell me Naling. Did Ann and father know anything about it?"

I shake my head. "No, I didn't even tell to either of them."

"Why not? This is like the second time they attack you." Then suddenly something pop into her head and she quickly said, "I told you that it might be Nene. It got to be her, Naling."

I started to laugh. "Are you serious Lela? Nene? It can't be her."

"Just think about it Naling. Yeah at first I was your enemy..."

I laugh again remembering what Vee said to me. "Yeah Vee and I argue about that."

"About what?"

"That at first the both of us were enemy but not anymore."

"Did you tell him that the both of us...you know."

I shake my head. "No that's why he yells at me saying that it can't be you and I can't put the blame on you and I didn't. I was just trying to tell him that my only enemy is him not anyone else, I think so. But why would you think that it's Nene? I never did anything to Nene to upset her."

She sighs at me. "Well let me tell you one thing. Every girl in that Kendo High School, they're in love with Vee."

"So you're telling me that they're jealous that Vee is paying more attention to me more than he pay attention to them right?"

She nodded her head. "Obviously Naling. They will try to hurt you and warn you to stay away from Vee that's why they send their gang to haunt you down."

"Well if Nene is really in love with Vee, she could take him when she wants. I don't even want him but just to teach him a lesson that some of us girl aren't easy to be cheated. We have our own way to deal with guy like him."

She laughs. "Yeah you teach him, Naling but you got to be careful...it's just like what they said, the more you hate the more you'll love that person."

I laughed along with her. "You and Xai are exactly alike do you know that."

She smiles at me and they finally finish.

"Are you girls done?" asked Mrs. Hsu.

"Yes," said the both of us.

I got into my clothes and we headed to our next spot.
