Maya Devi Temple
The famous temple of Maya Devi is located in Haridwar, and is dedicated to the goddess of power or Shakti. The Maya Devi temple is counted in one of the famous Shaktipeeths of the country. According to a legend, when lord Shiva was carrying his Sati wife, the heart and the naval of Sati fell at this place.

Vaishno Devi Temple
The Vaishno Devi temple is the newest of all the temples of Haridwar. This temple is the original replica of the Vaishno Devi temple of Jammu. Large number of devotees visit the temple, every year.

Parameshwar Mahadev Temple
The temple is situated at around 4 kilometers away from the Haridwar city. The Parameshwar Mahadev temple is famous for the huge lingam, which is made up of mercury.

By Railways: Haridwar is the city which is well-connected from all the major cities of the country. From Delhi, the Shatabdi express is the train that runs directly to Haridwar.

By Roadways: Haridwar can be easily reached by bus. Bus services are regularly operated from Delhi. All the cities in and around the Haridwar city, are connected by the state buses, which are available at regular intervals.
