Hard To Hear

Many of us have had to break up with someone and as difficult as it is, normally there is a good reason behind it, well here is my poem about a time I broke up with my boyfriend.

It’s hard to say, but it is true…. I am breaking up with you. It doesn’t feel the same, and I know you feel this way too.

Please don’t go into a rage and rip up this page. And please don’t cry. Cuz even you know that you can get by.

There isn’t a specific reason to "why" * Please please please don’t cry.

Don’t hide your feelings, but let them combine. And if you want to cry, yell, scream, or punch somebody in the head, take it out on me instead.

Sorry I didn’t tell you to your face, but I tried that once and this is a different case. What you friend said was wise. "If you love someone you will let them go." And that is true.

Cuz I sure as hell do love you. Which is exactly why I’m saying we’re through. I don’t want to hurt you. I don’t help at all. I love your friends, and family, but mainly your personality.

Please don’t make this harder then it has to be.
