Harbinger

I love the darkness in which I sit and think
And then my thoughts begin to sink
Beyond the veil of time
And into a world wholly mine

Pain subsides
As the dark tides rise
Filling me with peace
From the light I am released

Staring down
At a blackened ground
I become enthralled
By the darkness palled

It entices my mind to wander
And leaves no thoughts to ponder
I pull back the sky
And begin to fly

Into the starry night
and from the edge of sight
Through the abyss
Between worlds and stars

Body amiss
Soul seared with scars
I come across bliss
In the form of harbingers of Death
