Happy Now

Remembering an old love and how things have changed.
The days when I used to run to you
Were such a long time ago
If only way back then I knew
That an easier love would show

Love for a new lover of I
Who I can hold in my lonely arms
For her I know I would die
She harvests my love farms

I look in her eyes and see light
I see calmness and beauty
I look in your arms and see fright
I know longer see you as a cutey

There was pain in those days
There was so much hurt
It’s the heart that pays
As it’s kicked to the ground of dirt

My heart has been repaired
By a lass who wants to keep it
So alas with her it’s shared
And alas she doesn’t thieve it

She’s the prettiest girl to see
…Beauty in it’s finest forms
She’s the nicest person to be
As my heart for her, it warms

So please don’t expect me to come back
Because I’m happy in love here
Please don’t give me a hit or smack
When I tell you "Sorry, I’m in love elsewhere my dear"
