Happy Ending? I Think Not
Cassandra Formant's life was going great. Perfect best friend. Perfect boyfriend. Maybe she'll have a happy ending... But aren't happy endings only in fairy tales?

Cassandra was waiting for her sister to descend from the stairs so she began to apply her makeup. She had delicate brown eyes that matched perfectly with her chestnut colored hair. She applied brown eyeshadow and applied Chapstick. She glances at her iPhone. It's 7:00 a.m. She honks the horn on her car. Cathy walks out of the house in a messy bun, a v-neck t-shirt, high-waisted jeans cut offs and spotted leggings. She wore chunky socks with boots on. Wow, what a fashion statement, Cassandra thought. "Took you long enough Cathy," Cassandra said with a slight tone of sarcasm.
They walked into school and split up. Mateo walked up to Cassandra and wrapped his arms around her. "I missed you baby," he whispered in her ear. Before Cassandra could response, her best friend Analicia walks up to them. "Hey guys," she gives Mateo a longing stare and walks away. "Baby, I'm gonna go to my locker. I'll take you to lunch today." He gives her a peck on the cheek and walks to the direction where Analicia was walking. Cassandra was lucky. She had an amazing best friend and a perfect boyfriend... Everything was just perfect. She walked toward her first period, math.
She looks to the side and sees a couple making out. Heavily. He's touching her in places that shouldn't be touched. The couple moves to the janitor's closet. You hear moans and screams. She keeps walking until one of the screams is Mateo's name.
