Happiness Will Find Me

I told the one that I love I will not join the Military because he doesn't want to see me get hurt so I'm not going to for him...Please Comment
I have made my mind up,
an there is no way it will be changed.
No one can get me to,
not even you,
the love of my life.

Even if it's something that I love,
I have just given up,
my mind wont change.

You have already tried,
but it didn't work.
You asked why I did it,
and all I could say,
was that I did it because I love you.
I will stay here, as you leave.

You told me that you want to see me happy,
and this makes me happy,
making this choice.
But just not right at this moment.

Please don't worry about me,
happiness will find me once again,
that time will come when I am with you.
