Happiness Will Come...

Praying, wishing, & hoping for the man of my dreams
I caught him, but it is never going to happen it seems
Daydreaming of him, that special one...
Who will come sweep me off my feet, and will not run
Seeing in my head his precious face
Feeling him holding me with such warm embrace
Wanting and yearning to keep that tingly love
Foretelling my wedding one day with little white doves
Sharing are deepest utmost thoughts
Without anger, jealousy, or even a cost
Wanting to spend each and everyday...
With him the person who loves me in every kind of way.
Dreaming of walking hand in hand on a beautiful beach
Splashing in the water, laughs, and smiles...
It just seems all out of reach.
One day it will happen, I know it's true
It is hard to believe right now because my world is so blue.
The man I long to have will eventually be forever in my life...
He will know my worth, show some respect, and treat me right.
He will be that someone who will stand by me through whatever... no matter what the price,
Who loves me, will cherish me, and comfort me, and be nothing but nice.
It will take time, for that is what I need to heal...
From the pain and hurt that I now feel
I deserve happiness though and admit I am not perfect...
I have had my fair share of suffering so the wait should be worth it.
For now I will be me and find out who I am...
Putting on a front like I just don't give a damn!
Though I still love him and hope we can make it work
For I feel he is my soulmate and that to me is a perk.
