Hanging High

Depressed - The mouth it laughs the eyes they stalk...
The mouth it laughs the eyes they stalk
My ears they hear when you talk
When you stare and whisper
My body floods with deep despair
Really I care but I just don’t show it
I’m hurting inside and you know it
I feel I can’t take it no more
You call me a bitch, freak and a whore
I have to relieve this burning torment
My life’s left behind its now distant
I know there’s only one thing to do
I grab a rope and a pen knife too
I run and run down to the park
I choose the tree with the hard skinned bark
I climb up to the highest branch
I tie the rope and knot it in a bunch
I wrap it round my neck and say my goodbyes
I look down to the ground then up to the skies
I take one last breath and close my eyes
In three seconds flat I am going to die
321 I jump…I hang…
This is the end Of what never began
The murderous tree stands in which I hang
