Hang to Your Verge

A poem about self confidence and to always and forever believe in yourself.
Watch me closely
Here is the reason for death
Distress, distress is one’s name
(Your core is flaming, eternally shading to black)
If I ask you again
Answer correctly
(I have explained over and over again)
Everything will be all right
(This air is suffocating you I know)
Seems like you don’t want to heal
Every day is so contagious
(Allergic to you now)
Badly scraping this scene into my brain
(I heard you the first time)
What do you think you’re doing?
(Talking to me like your nothing important anymore)
Do not say those words
(No encouragement and low self esteem for your own being)
Your mind is confused
(This time you’ll understand)
Make your own life set free
Being always what they told you to be
Your wings are now like a butterfly’s dream
Sky’s now blue to pink
(Have you noticed?)
Breathing easier, strangle loosens
Sympathy, sympathy
Step it up for yourself
(Some sense of your own pay, change your way but you control your life.)
Tell yourself you’ll be all right
