Halo

Trust, friendship, shattered...
Trusting someone is hard,
Because you never know if they're trustworthy.
To tell them your darkest secrets,
And hoping that they never tell.
Allowing yourself to believe their honest,
Never going to say a word.
But when you believe them so much,
Then eventually turn on you.
You trust that they love you,
Then they leave you shattered.
Do you then believe them anymore,
For them to do more damage?
Or be the angel that works it out,
Showing that you're the one with the halo.
