Halloween Time

Isn't Halloween a fun time?
Halloween Time
The witch with a switch
Rose up on her broomstick
A silhouette of dread
In the pale moonlight.
A werewolf’s howl close by
And spooks fill the sky.
Then the Count
Dracula himself arose
With a blood red leer
So frightening, so alarming
With hearts a pounding
The night of Halloween.

The witch’s cackle
Sounded dark and eerie
Over a moonlit cemetery.
It’s Halloween the night of fright
And weird delight!
The skeletons dance
And we all fall into a trance.
Oh! The romance of the unknown
And the werewolf with a snarl
Like a fool, began to drool
And in great glee
Did cry out
Happy Halloween
To one and all
And a night of frightful delight!
