Chapter 1: Happy Halloween Thriller

P.O.V. *He
"Tell me what you want." I whispered to her.
"I want you to untie me." She whispered back to me. I stroked her hair gently. "Now, Now, Kitten I told you if you play nice, I’ll let you go. When you play nice you don’t have to put you under the knife."

"Why do you get to have all the fun? I never get to do anything. You never let me do anything!" Via said Via was my student. . She had been born a full bloodied Vampire. A Vampire that no one’s ever seen. When Via enters the room, People run out of the room. Via has a presence that strikes you. And her powers are even more deadly then mine. ( I won’t dare tell her so. Or she’d never listen to me again )

Her parents were shocked at what they created. They looked at Via as "the devil." They knew they had to depose of her. They tried burning her. Only, Via didn’t burn. And she was so enraged at them for trying to kill her, that she end up killing her own parents. No one knows how she exactly did it either. Their cause of death is unknown and marked under unsolved cases.

"Last time, I left you in charge of this. You made a big mess for me to clean up that again. Were already losing our kind. We can not afford to make mistakes like that!" I told her

She whined "That was only a few months ago! Forget it!"
"Never. " I told her.

"Now, I’m going to give your mark. It might hurt but don’t scream." I told the woman I pulled my silver gold blade out and held it up. I adirmired it for a few minutes. As soon as she felt a blade against her skin, she screamed.

Big mistake. "Kitten, Kitten, Kitten, Kitten….. Didn’t I tell you not to scream? Fuck, now I’m going to kill you. If you were a nice kitten, I wouldn’t have to."

"Via could you hand me the gloves?" I asked her.

"Can I please do it. Please. Please. Please. Please." She begged.

I smirked at her. "No. Via. You will learn this skill when you are ready. Not Now."

She whined, grabbed the gloves off the counter, and handed them to me.
"Thank you, Love." I slipped on the gloves and put both of my hands of either sides of the neck. She was screaming, screaming, screaming.

In one swift motion had twisted my hands around her neck and snapped it. Crack! Crack! Crack! Then her screaming was silenced and she was dead.

"Don’t worry via. You still get to dig the whole and--"
"Ugh, I hate that part. That’s the dirty part."

"Via, Dispose of the body."

She stuck her tongue out at me but did as she was told.

Via
I hate him. He never trusted me to do anything since last summer. Last summer, I came into my powers. And I want to try out my powers. They were to hard to control and I ended up killing a few weak vampires. I never understood why it enraged him so much. They were weak vampires and they deserved to be die.

Well actually, there was one vampire I killed on purpose. His name was Billy s. Yeah I know, strange name for a vampire. (Remember he was human before he was turned) Anyway, He started taunting and taunting me about how much stronger he was. So then I just showed him how much stronger I was then him.

I droped the womans body on the ground. I didn't look at her. I never looked at any of his
Victims. It was always easily that way. If I looked at them, then it made it real. If I didn't look at them, then all they were was just dead bodies.

I plunged the shovel into the ground, like I had a hundred times before and began digging
the whole.

Only then..........I heard footsteps. I turned my head to see it. I smiled a bright smile. A human. I never got to see humans this close. Well, not alone, anyway. He would only let
me see then when he was with me. He said I would lose control. I don't think I would ever lose control. When I thirsted for blood, I could always turn the feeling off and on.

Because I was stronger then any other vampire in the world. Well besides, "Him." He was probably stronger then me.

The boy arm was bleeding. And he was more then terrified of me. (Of course he was terrified of me. I was digging a grave for the dead woman at my feet) I couldn't handle that. I couldn't deal with human emotions.

I ignored him and focused on digging my hole.

"What in the hell do YOU think your doing?" The boy said

Is the human trying to talk to me? Don't reply, Via. Just don't reply, Via. Just focus on our task.

"Bitch, I'm talking to you!" He said

I didn't know the meaning of the word. But "He." had told me that it meant something very bad.

"I don't talk to you." I said

Only a few more minutes until I'm done and I can't get away from the human.

Then I felt something sharp pressed against my back. A knife, but not just any type of knife. A fire knife. Their only used for vampiress. Ahh, So I was dealing with a vampire slayer.

When the knife didn't work, the boy dropped into it the wet grass. "I...........I..........it...doesn't work."

He dropped on his knee on the ground and started praying. "God, God, God, Give me the
strength to get rid of this demon.
God......God.. God..Give me the strength to destroy this demon satin has sent us.

God, God, give me the power to send this demon back to the whole they came for."

I dropped the shovel and started to cry. Not soft sobs either but loud sobs. Loud ear breaking sobs.

The boy stopped and praying looked at me.

His words were echoing in my mind. That word tore at me like a blade piercing my soft flesh. Demon, Demon, Demon. He thought the same thing as my parents thought about. That word; ahhh. Demon, Demon, Demon.
Then I start to scream and scream and scream.

* Him
I stared at the boy and then at Via. Via was having a panic attack. She hadn't even finished digging and this boy was harassing her. "Via, honey, tell me what's wrong." She shook her head NO and her sobs only got louder.

"You. I know you. " I said the boy. His eyes widened in fear. "You dare harress her! Do you not understand who your dealing with! "

I stepped closer to him and grabbed his shirt. "You lucky she didn't slit your throat and make you slowly suffer. And since she hasn't, I will."

"You all are going to hell. Gods is going to punish you for--"

"Oh, shut up already. You should know your god doesn't exist and Hell doesn't exist. Stupid, Idiotic human. " I said

"Doesn't exist! How-"

"Don't kill him." Via pledded with me.

"Why?" I asked her.

"Then It'll make everything he said true. I don't want it to be true." She said

"Via, Via, Via, Do you NOT know who this is? Do you know how many of our people he has killed?!"

"But how many of his people have we killed?" she said

"Via....that's not the same thing." I protested

"If you kill him, I'll stop you."

That was enough for me not to take the pathetic souls poor life away. If Via tried to stop me, she might end up killing me.

"Fine. Finish your digging. And then we'll leave."

"I can't...." she said

I grabbed her by her hair. "What do you mean you can't?"

"I looked at her and I can't." She said

"Don't dare let this human question our style of life! He knows nothing!!! Nothing!!! Now I said finish."

"I'm not finishing!" She said

"Are you crossing me? Crossing me? Are you crossing your master? Do you know where you would be without me?" I told her

She shivered with fear. I know that thought had stroke a chord with her. "I can't......Please don't make me do it."

"I SAID DO IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I said

At the tone of my voice, she went to finish digging her whole.

And when I turned around, the boy was running away.

Via's P.O.V.
I dropped the woman in the whole and covered her with dirt. Why did he make do this? "I want to have a fun night." I told him.

"I think I'm going to leave you alone tonight Via." He said

"What?" I said

"I have some things to take care off."

He reached into his pocket, pulled out so cash, and placed it in my hands.

I counted it. Six grand.

"That should get you throught the night. I'll find you. Don't make a mess of things."

Then he was gone.

* Him
I was worried about leaving Via alone by herself. She was like a baby in many ways. She
was so untouched. She had never been alone before with herself. (I knew it was a huge risk to leave her alone but I needed to get away from her)

It may seem like I hate Via, But I don't. I love Via but I have to prepare her for real life. And then sometimes, babysitting her just gets too much.

Before her, I had a life. But Now, I have to constantly watch her. Constantly make sure she doesn't mess up anything. Trust me, It gets extremely annoying. You think she would be independent and strong like her powers. Only, she's not.

She needs someone to cling on to. Someone to guide her.

"Hello gorgeous. Wow Look at you."

My blonde beauty for the night. "I Missed you." She whispered and started kissing on my neck. I moaned under the feeling of her soft lips on my skin.

"I missed you too baby. It's been hell without you." I said

"You smell you different. Like you've been with someone else...." She said

"Don't be silly. You know I would never do that to you or your daughter." I told her

"I can smell her perfume on you!" She insisted

It wasn't perfume. It was Via stupid scent. Why does Via have to ruin everything for me?

"I love you. I love you. Only you. Only. Remember that."

Via's P.O.V.--------
I'm scared to be alone by myself. I've never had to alone before in my life. And It's really dark. I'm afraid of the dark. It's strange for a vampire to be afraid of the dark, I know. But I always had been. Bad things happen in the dark.

"Hey. Love." A voice said

I jumped in fear at the voice. But once I smelled his scent. I realized he was one of me. I ran to him and hugged him tight.

He laughed, "Hun, your hurting me."

I released him. "Sorry."

"I'm Romulus." He told me Well, Romulus was beautiful. He had pure golden eyes, dark black eyelashes, a perfect still pale face. My hand reached out to touch his face. I started to
trace all of his angels.

"This doesn't normally happen. I'm not normally attracted to vampires. Their so..............hard.
It's like they feel nothing. And their so aggressive. And not Aggressive in a good way."

He laughed "Let me get a good look at you." He takes my arm and twirls me around, admiringly. I blush a shade of red that resembles the color of my hair. I've just never had a guy look at me before this.

"Your birth is legendary. We've all been talking about the beautiful s-"

"It's Via now." I said

He bowed his head and said "My apologies Via. Who have you been staying with?"

"I don't know his name."

"Well describe him to me."

So I describe "Him." to Romulus.

Romulus scowls and says "Gage."

"Tonight was horrible." I admit

"Horrible?" He asked

I sat on the grass and Romulus sunk down into the grass by me. I start telling him everything. From "Him." killing the woman to the boy calling me a demon.

I Swallow hard. "The Demon part was the worst though. I've been called that all my life. And sometimes I really feel that way. And My parents told me the same way. and I just-"

I shook my head in confusion.

"I mean he said god hated me. Master or whatever doesn't believe in god. But I believe in god. Does god hate me? Does god hate everything I am?" I asked

He lifted up hair and touched my birth mark. "This is what makes you special."

"What that stupid scar that is shaped like Texas?" I said, laughing.

"No. You. Don't let anyone let you think differently." He said

Silence.

"Tonight's Halloween and I'm going to give you the best Halloween!"

"I've never had one before."

Romulus Laughed, "Then we have lots of work to do."
