Halle Berry Delivers
It has been confirmed that actress Halle Berry gave birth to her first child, a girl, on Sunday in Los Angeles.

The baby’s father is Berry’s long time beau, Gabriel Aubry. Berry’s publicist, Meredith O’Sullivan said that the Oscar winning actress is "doing great." Berry, 41, has yet to release the baby’s name, but she has said in the past that the baby will take Aubry’s last name. This is the first child for both Berry and Aubry and the couple reportedly has no plans to marry.
Berry announced her pregnancy this past September saying, "Yes, I am three months pregnant. Gabriel and I are beyond excited and I’ve waited a long time for this moment in my life." Berry has always been very open about the fact that she wanted to have children. She recently said during an interview that she wanted to "stay pregnant forever!" Aubry reportedly read all kinds of parenting books and baby manuals in preparation for the arrival of their little bundle of joy.
Berry and Aubry, 32, met in November 2005 during a photo shoot for Versace. They made their first public appearance as a couple three months later at the opening of a Versace boutique in New York City. Berry has been married twice. She was married to baseballer David Justice from December 1992 until June 1997. She then married musician Eric Benet in January 2001. They were divorced in January 2005. Both marriages ended badly. Berry said once, "Actually, it’s just that now I have come to a place where I think two people can share their lives without the ring, without the piece of paper."
