Half Past Dead
Poem about the insecurities of love.
All of me? Within me?
They say hold on even if the thread is now thin
What if the sun isn't just shining anymore?
What if you can't take in the scotching heat anymore?
My Sun used to hold me with tenderness
Even the Moon's softness and brightness could not compare
I was so naive to think that the love bracelet would make my Sun shine my tears away
I'm still trapped in between reality and passion.
My Rock, you've taken my self-esteem, your memories haunt me
Dosages of insecurities are too strong that even the soft morning rays can't reach me
Weren't my sacrifices enough torture upon me
What else do I have to give before you release a part of me you have so I could give it to the Moon.
Happiness come displace bitterness, emptiness and loneliness so I could be a quarter to life
Will the sun shine tomorrow?
