Idea #1: Flapper style is getting very popular, and is the best style suited for hair which are short. To create a nice short hairstyles with it. Style your hair in pin curls. You can do this by rolling your hair around the finger, and then securing it flat against the head using pins. Let the hair dry, and then out the pins to get beautiful pin curls.
