Many of you, after delivery, might be experiencing female hair loss, but there is no need to worry much since it is a part and parcel of being pregnant. According to research, hair fall is very precise after the delivery only. The hormone levels during pregnancy are such that they prevent hair from falling out as such. However, after childbirth, the levels gradually come back to normal which leads to hair falling out (of months together). The result - excessive hair loss.
Honestly, there is nothing much you can do about hair falling out after pregnancy. What you need to do is follow some tips given below.
- First of all, try experimenting different kinds of hairstyles like braids or cornrows which would help preventing hair loss after pregnancy. Try to keep them intact and not loose.
- Secondly, keep a watch on the kind of shampoo and conditioner you are using to wash your locks. Use shampoos which have biotin and silica that promote stronger and healthier hair.
- After you have washed your locks, allow them to dry for some time. Do not comb them immediately because wet hair are delicate and easily prone to hair fall.
- While drying, let your hair dry naturally as in avoid the use of hair or blow dryers. This is because, excess of heat on the hair can make them weak and fragile.
- After shampooing or otherwise as well, be very gentle while combing your hair. Use proper hair brush which does not lead to excessive hair loss.
- Apart from all this, what is required is aromatherapy. Use oils such as jojoba oil, lavender oil and other essential oils alternatively as a part of treatment.
- Last but not the least, keep a watch on your diet. Eating right kind of foods which help hair growth is a prerequisite. Vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin B complex rich foods are known for healthy hair growth and are considered as vitamins to remedy for hair loss in women. Intake of fish, onions, garlic, eggs and dairy products is recommended.
