Hair Color Instructions
Want to don a trendy look by coloring your hair? Here are some hair color instructions for you. These instructions for coloring hair will help you right from selecting the color till the post coloring hair care.
Choose the Right Hair Color
This is the most important part of the whole hair coloring experiment. You need to choose the right hair color. Remember, hair color highlights and coloring everything is different. You might love the blonde highlights in your friend's hair, but a complete blonde look might look weird. So think about your hair type, hair length and your complexion. You can go through some fashion magazines for hair coloring ideas and find out how your favorite shade of hair color looks.
Test the Hair Color for Skin Reaction
Do a patch test to check whether there is any allergic reaction on your skin. Put a small amount of hair color on your skin and leave it untouched for 20 minutes. Wash it off, if there is any allergic reaction on the skin, and don't use the color.
Strand Test
Strand test is one of the most important hair color instructions. Take three drops of color and three drops of developer in a plastic bowl and mix them well. Apply on an inner strand of your hair with the help of a hair brush. Tie the remaining hair aside with help of claw clips. Leave it for 25 minutes and wash it off. Check the color of this strand after it is completely dry. If you are still not sure, you must try coloring another strand. Be patient, don't be in a hurry to color all your hair. It is advisable to do the strand test and start hair coloring only after you are satisfied with the resulting shade.
