Gwyneth Paltrow Recovering after Hospital Stay

Paltrow, 35, was reportedly admitted to Mount Sinai Hospital in New York yesterday afternoon. A source said, "She was slumped over in a wheelchair pushed by [husband] Chris Martin. She looked not well." Paltrow’s rep, Stephen Huvane, reportedly confirmed the hospital visit and said, "Yes, she was at the hospital and is fine and now home." Huvane added, "We are not commenting on the reason for her hospitalization, as it is personal." Paltrow and Martin reportedly spent the night at the hospital and she was released on Tuesday. It has been reported that a bag labeled Gwyneth Martin was delivered to the hospital Monday evening from an organic supply store in New York City.

Paltrow met Coldplay frontman Chris Martin in October 2002 after attending one of his concerts. The couple married in December 2003 and has two children together. Daughter Apple is 3 and son Moses is 1. Paltrow has appeared in over 30 films including Running With Scissors, View From the Top, A Perfect Murder, and Duets. Paltrow won an Oscar for her role in the 1998 film "Shakespeare in Love."

Paltrow will be back on the promotional track when she begins promoting her latest flick Iron Man. The movie co-stars Robert Downey, Jr. and is based on a comic book. She is also starring with Chef Mario Batali in the PBS road trip series Spain…On The Road Again which is set to air in September. Paltrow is also reportedly currently filming the movie Two Lovers co-starring Joaquin Phoenix.
