Never say the other woman is more beautiful even if it is a fact. A woman likes to be surprised occasionally. You need not buy expensive gifts. What matters is the sentiment behind the gift not it’s cost. You can buy flowers or present her with a personalized greeting card.

If the woman in your life is worried or hurt, she becomes jealous, possessive, moody and argumentative. In the end she will stop opening up to you altogether. You will often pay for it in ways you may not even realize. You should understand why all this is happening and be supportive.

Women in relationships are more sensitive then their male counterparts. This has a physiological reason. They are more aware of non-verbal cues. Men tend to forget fights but women remember them for a long time. That's why you can say something to your girlfriend, and a few days later she asks you, ‘What did you actually mean when you said...’ This is because women are hypersensitive to your actions and words.

Women are more focused on where the relationship is heading. This is because it is in a women's biological make-up to settle down. Even if a woman doesn't says so, she is aware that her biological clock is always ticking. Women need to be handled in a way they feel special and important. You need to show she is the most important person in your world. Do the little things that matter to let her know you are thinking about her, especially when you are apart, otherwise she will be emotionally distraught.

Women are always attracted to gentleman. Things like opening the door for her and offering her your seat still matter in modern times. Women always prefer well-groomed and mannered men. Women are drawn to men who have self-respect and stand on their feet. They should accord the requisite respect for womenfolk. Women dislike men who brag and lie. They judge men by how they treat the women in their own family.

The modern woman does not depend on men for protection. Women have more, freedom, assertiveness and independence than any other time in history. This has resulted in women being much more independent in their relationships too. Contrary to popular notions it is very much possible to understand women and handle them properly.
