Great Prince Charming... or a Regular Frog? - Part 15

On the 29th of July, the day we would have had our first anniversary two years ago, I was thinking to myself how I had wasted the last two years... I felt terrible.

The doorbell rang. Matt came in to meet me. I was wearing a gown... we were going to meet Darius and Mike and all our friends for a special dinner that night.
"What were you thinking?" He asked me and wrapped his arms around me.
"I was thinking that today could have been our first anniversary." I told him. I couldn't even look into his eyes.
"Why, baby... it's our third anniversary!" He said.
"Wh-what?" I stammered.

"Well... anniversaries are about how long two people have loved each other or been together. As far as the former is concerned, I always had, still do and always will love you my darling," with that he kissed my neck.
"And as for the latter," he continued, "you never were away from me, I could always imagine you with me, sometimes I swear I could almost hear your voice."

I smiled at him, and he smiled back. I stayed in his arms for a long time.

"Happy third anniversary V." He wished me.
"Happy third anniversary M." With that I held his hand and we stepped out of the house.

So Matt and I are finally together.

Peter finally got the strength to ask Jessica out and they are still dating, and both have secretly told me how much they love one another.

Sam proposed Sasha three days after the wedding, and they are getting married in the fall.

Mike and Darius spent a wonderful honeymoon together and want to adopt a child, as they told us later that night.

Reene, Anne and Sherry are all dating really cute guys, who seemed like perfect gentlemen when we met them.

And the story didn't end there.

Matt proposed me that very night and I said yes. And now Sasha and I are both getting ready for our wedding... and the wedding manager is driving us crazy. What a frog!

Well... old habits die hard!

It always pained me to say goodbye to Matt after we met, even my friends after school.
And now I feel sad saying goodbye to all of you. You have all shared my true story, you have been there for me... just like my friends. And like I love them, I love you too.

I promise to always be here for you, whenever you need me.

And, some words of advice from someone who sadly has had a pretty big experience!

To all the Frogs out there... no need to try to be someone for anyone you love. The one who loves you should love you the way you are. Not the person you pretend to be. Trust me, you may be a frog for one girl but for another, you very well could be her Prince!

To all the Prince Charmings... find your princess, tell her you love her... She's been waiting for you as long as you have been waiting for her! Even you have a frog hidden somewhere inside of you, don't try hiding that... you never know... good girls do like bad boys, after all!

And to all my girlfriends... Don't ever be scared of dreaming. Trust me, dreams do come true. Matt is wonderful. He may appear as a Prince sometimes, at other times a complete frog! But the love we want... we can get that in return, and more... much much more.. Go find your guy right now... whether he is a more of a Prince or a frog, well you and I will worry about that later, together, I promise.

I got my fairytale, and you will get yours too.
